I took my family out for lunch and recieved a warm friendly welcome, we liked that we could sit in a cosy sofa and comfy arm chair area while we chatted about what to eat , we were accommodated well with the requests for changes to preferences and the food didn’t take long to arrive, the coffee is spot on and table service was pleasant, the new owners took time to listen to what we had to say and I just know I could talk about anything and not be judged. We enjoyed the food and cleared the plates , really good selection of choice and the right atmosphere, there were people of all ages and we left feeling satisfied, uplifted and looking forward to going back soon. We really felt welcome and valued. Thank you, see you soon x

Used to visit regularly, but haven’t been for a while and I’ll not be back. Note on the door said there’d be a limited service - fully understand that. However, when you’re sat down and the waitresses have been past you a few times and haven’t even acknowledged you, you get a little miffed. When you go up to the counter and get told “if you sit down and we’ll be over” (no please, sorry, basic good manners) and then get ignored again, you just walk out never to return. To be honest the way the waitress spoke to another customer we should have taken that as a warning. Very disappointed

Classic British Café! Teaspoons were dirty, table wobbly and table cloth a bit greasy but the atmosphere was exactly what you want from a cafe. Would recommend the large breakfast, everything on it is good quality and cooked well. The only thing me and my partner didn't enjoy was that when it was busy the dining area became smokey, irritating our eyes slightly.

Had the large English breakfast with a pot of tea. My daughter had eggs benedict with coffee. The food was hot and tasted lovely. The service was friendly and very good. Would recommend Dolly's to everyone. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

What a lovely cafe and lovely home bakes. The meals looked great that were being served so will try them on my next visit. A super friendly place to meet up.
