I came for food and peace away from the world outside! Not see flag pins of Palestine on most the staff! I want an atmosphere that’s political free! How would they prepared my food if I was wearing an Israel flag pin? First and last visit. Not for me!
Great staff, great atmosphere. Very helpful and always welcoming. You can bring your dog as well and they treated her with some snacks. The coffee and food snacks are really good as well.
A Must visit if you are in Palmerston road, drop in for a great coffee. One of my go to places within southsea if I am looking for a coffee on my own, to work or with my children. Large seating area and lots of different table variations to choose from. Coffee and menu is superb, always a guest bean on the go also, this was the Honduras bean and it was delicious. I will always be back as I love it here.
Only had drinks, Popcorn Latte was delicious, wish I had a Large one now. Staff lovely. Chocolate Frappe also delicious.
Good food, great surroundings with plenty of light. Yum. Could have been more chicken in the panini, but decent quality bread and nice cake.
Coffee was good nice and hot Always enjoy their cakes. Nice and quiet just what was needed after a meeting. Plus dog friendly which is a nice thing as well.
I’ve always enjoyed and appreciate Coffee No 1, for the last 5 years, the service is good and so is the coffee, the premises are spacious and toilet are clean. But having visited today 1st February with a friend, I was disappointed, whilst the prices have increased the coffee was disappointing it was watery with no taste of coffee I was ready to take it back but my friend stopped me. So all I am saying Yes everything is expensive and I don’t mind paying but please let me taste the coffee. February 2023
First time I have visited. Nice and cozy inside, and they allow dogs up the back. I didn't have coffee but the green tea was lovely, and the cakes looked amazing.
Nice building and atmosphere. Friendly staff. I got one of their festive mochas and a cookies and cream slice and neither was good. The cookies and cream slice was bland. It’s only taste was cream. The mocha was not pleasant to drink either. My friends carrot cake was nice so I am told and their standard coffees’ were respectable coffees.
Pricey but good. 2 x smoothies, 1 x tea, 1 Cup cake and 2 x chocolate slices 20 quid. But oh so good. Lovely and clean, quick service, popular place in gentle palmerston road just up from WHSmiths. Loads of seating, great decor and clean toilets. Recommended.
