Lovely cafe. A great selection of sandwiches, drinks and snacks. Very friendly and helpful staff member. Perfectly located for the splash pool nearby. We got sandwiches etc for a picnic and then returned for ice lollies later! Excellent, would recommend and visit again for sure!
Great coffee, fantastic toastie, visited during the Great South Run, friendly staff who kept going on a particularly busy day.

an awkward situation occured today where their card machine went down and my son had already started to eat the ice cream i had tried to purchase. I dont carry cash so was held in the cafe and told i was not able to leave. Eventually their card machine started working (after a few other customers also could not pay) and we were able to pay. the 1 star though is for the way the problem was handled. was told could not leave the building tho the staff had no idea as to what to do in this situation my poor 5 year old son now feels like he has done something wrong. I appreciate the staff are young but they clearly are not trained and the staff member became quite rude and even told my little boy he shouldnt have started to eat the ice cream, baring in mind he is only 5 and doesnt understand.

Excellent coffee and really good bread and butter pudding, as well as incredibly friendly staff, if ur ever in the area i highly recomed you visit
