Get your blanket and your popcorn because this is going to be a long one. I walked in and was left very impressed by my experience in this cafe. I had wanted to visit ever since I saw it after I moved here in September. Where do I even begin? For a starter, one of the staff members (the young man) who was on his break at the time but still willing to help, helped me understand that we could get in through both of the doors (I personally chose the one that said merry Christmas with the open sign on it, not that that's really relevant but I'm one for detailed imagery). I then walked in and ordered a mocha, I've been a big fan of mochas recently for some reason and they had it. I also ordered a coca cola labelled ice cold to drink while I waited for the mocha. The cashier lady gave me an option to pay now or pay after. I absolutely love the fact that I got an option. That's one of the things that stood out. And like I said I'm one for details so I picked the pay now option. So I sat down on the table. And I hadn't even finished my cola before the lady served the mocha to me. I hadn't even thought of the possibility that the serving times could be that fast. That's one of the things that impressed me about it. They also had a lovely little donut shaped chocolate flavoured cookie thingy on my plate as a nice little touch, it was a sweet little addition. Now I'm naturally observant, more observant than other people. And what I observed that I've never seen in a cafe before was how the staff treated the other customers and how they treated each other. I don't think I've ever seen a cafe where the staff have gotten on so amazingly with each other. And they got along with the other customers as well. They talked to the customers as if they've known each other for years. I've noticed how they make the customers feel so welcome. Every single one that comes in. Including me. I don't think before this that I've ever walked into a cafe where I feel like I fit in completely. This is exactly how I want to feel when I walk into any building. Feels like a taster of being famous. I even witnessed them serving one of the staff on their break and saying "serving an amazing waitress" or something along the lines of that. Not only do they have great vibes. It also appears that their kindness and great vibes extend to the customers as well as some of them appeared to have a great sense of humour. I felt like I had walked on a comedy set. Minus the whole assistant directors and cameras and directors saying action and tripods and long poles with fluffy microphones attached to them. Of course I joined in on the fun. I felt completely fine with singing along to the Christmas songs they had on the radio. They also had lovely decorations up for this time of the year (and yes tinsel on the mirrors looks fabulous by the way if you're reading this). As I walked out they told me their names (I think they said Annie and Jade?) and I'm glad I chose to go to this cafe and I will be visiting in the future. I would very highly recommend this place if you want a lovely cafe to sit in all year round.

Great location, on the other side of the beach. Scrumptious food and wonderful friendly service. Value for money. Clean toilet. Paid parking available to the rear 2 mins walk down the side road.

Excellent food with such variety and quality. Fast and very efficient service. Staff friendly despite being busy. I notice a staff member stop and actively listen to an elderly customer who wanted to tell them a little story. Perfect service and affordable prices.

Fantastic Café – Highly Recommended! You have to visit this place! The Clock House Café offers delicious food at great prices, all served with a smile. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming—just what you want from a local café. We had two full breakfasts for under £12, which is incredible value. We wish we’d come back here instead of trying the Dolphin Café (big mistake). Thank you, Clock House Café, for a great experience. We'll definitely be returning!

Myself and the wife had two hoofing breakfasts, with coffees, for less than £15. Fantastic service with a smile and always polite. Food tasted excellent and we could instantly see that it was sourced locally.
