My wife and I visited Cackleberrys for the first time, on New Yearβs Eve, and we were not disappointed. Tess was friendly and looked after us very well during our visit. We both had breakfast muffins, which were delicious! The coffees were hot and complimented our food choice. We also took a couple of the homemade pies away with us, which were really tasty too! Prices were reasonable and the seating area and toilets were clean and well presented. Weβd definitely recommend a visit, and weβll be back there again, sometime soon.

Homemade delights. Whilst shopping with my wife I had to stop for nourishment and Cackleberrys stood out. As we walked in the owner was really friendly and really engaged us as customers, this lead to a drinks order and a really good 10 minute chat. Looking at the vast array of homemade pies and cakes I obviously went for a steak and stilton pie and the wife went for a chuck of quiche. The quality of produce stood out even down to the crisp cucumber in the salad. The addition of the mint potatoes salad and the chilli and lime slaw were a super addition to the salad. Will definitely be a regular customer.

Just what other reviews said. Super friendly, very adaptable, fresh homemade butter used pastries, cakes and savoury pies. Something for all diets too.

Just returned after a five year absence. Nothing has changed well, maybe the ingredients, but still excellent. Now have corned beef savouries and a wonderful keema pasty as well as stonking breakfast treats

Wonderful place - I keep coming back and bringing my friends over too! If I want to treat someone to a nice hot drink with a bite to eat - I always come here, as you can't go wrong with Cackleberrys! This place has got its unique and cozy character, very attentive service and delicious food! They do amazing cakes, sandwich platters and lush hot drinks! Portions are of a very good size too! I highly recommend it!!

Went there for first time yesterday with a buddy. We both got breakfast and it was absolutely incredible! Super tasty, and the variety was insane! The Tiramisu hot chocolate was next-level as well, and the breakfast stack has more than enough to chow down on! Staff were super polite and very hospitable too, well done, your work hasnt gone unnoticed!

Had lunch with mum. Wonderful array of home made pasties, pies, quiches, cakes etc. High quality drinks and sensible prices. Very attentive service and I would whole heartedly recommend. Pasties come with a nice salad. They also do gluten free sandwiches.

Great place to stop and have from a coffee and light bite to eat to high tea. There is takeaway options as well with a great selection of pastries and cakes. Lovely decor and very friendly and accommodating staff.

The BEST afternoon tea in the area!! I have tried many afternoon teas around the area and I have also been to Cackleberrys several times. But this is by far the place that does the best afternoon tea in the area. Everything is so fresh and so much effort is made to attention to detail and presentation. You also get a lot for your money so it is extremely good value and everything is absolutely lovely quality. The staff in there are so friendly too and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. I cannot recommend this place enough and I will be going there with my mother in law for lunch this month too!
