Just had the worst flat white and hot chocolate of my life. Both lukewarm, the hot chocolate had basically no chocolate and was like warm milk with a teaspoon of cheap powder and the flat white was so disgusting we threw it away. Jeeeeeez.

Such a cool and uniquely set out cafe! It's really handy being next to the terminal as well because the coffee machines inside are horrific and you're basically paying the same price on their vending machines as you are to come in here. I got their caramel milkshake once as we came back from the mainland, and it was bigger than expected and really nice. My only possible complaint would be that there were chunks of fudge in it which ended up being wasted because they were too big to go up the straw, and being not at home, I didn't have a spoon at hand.

Absolutely fabulous cafe and especially wonderful service from the man there (I think he may have owned it). He was so welcoming to the children at another table and very kind to our daughter too. Lots of comics to read, and board games to play. The salads were great, chased by the chocolate bubble waffle and ice cream which was excellent. Great quality ingredients (not that rubbish chocolate sauce you can get). Such a treat. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Delicious vegan waffles. Vegan breakfast was quite bland. Lovely staff, cosy quirky decor. Also free dog biscuits!

We visited Comicoffee for breakfast, hoping it would also fill some time until rain eased off and we could get on with our day. My two children really enjoyed the free comics and made full use of the arcade machine. The full English was really good quality and delicious. The children both opted for waffles, which they rated. Thoroughly recommend.

We had one sweet and one savoury waffle. The waffles seemed a little undercooked? But were otherwise very tasty. We had a milkshake which was very poor however - it was extremely milky no thickness to it at all - just like milk with cream on top. Pretty pricey as well for what it is.

Such a great find!! I needed somewhere to work for a few hours and this was such a treat. The english breakfast tea was exceptionally tasty (in a no-spill loose tea teapot too!) and they had a yum banana choc chip gluten free loaf. The comic book decor is such a labour of joy and love, awesome music playlist, internet worked well and simply lovely, caring staff.

You know those days when you wake up and you want a low budget fried breakfast swimming in grease? Well today was one one those days. Turns out it’s Impossible to get one of these on a Sunday morning in Cowes without going up a thousand stairs so we went to Comic coffee instead. Glad I did though as although I couldn’t get a low rent breakfast the food here definitely hits the spot. Nicely decorated place they managed to make it feel quality without being intimidating which Cowes often struggles to do. Staff here are also really friendly. Cheered me right up.

What makes this place even awesome is that I can read random old comics while drinking really nice coffee. Everything about Comicoffee is done perfectly from design of the place, to range of drinks , to friendly staff. If your in Cowes , pop in to here .

We stayed in an apartment directly above Comicoffee for a few days, and I couldn't have been happier with being able to pop down in the morning and discovering this place! The staff were the friendliest people you could ask for, and the vibe of the cafe was perfect. Lots of comic book inspired decor, and comics on the tables to read through! I lost count of how many times I went in during our trip, and every time I was happy. The drinks menu has so many options and they all sound delicious. I had the dark hot chocolate one time and it was delicious. On our final morning we went down for breakfast after being tempted all week. The waffle menu is hard to choose from because they all sound amazing, and there is also a selection of toppings on sourdough to choose from which use fresh, local bread. If the brownies are in stock when you visit, buy one. You don't want to miss those either.
