It says dogs are allowed but even though we had a chihuahua who was only sitting on his owners lap, we were told dogs not allowed. Definitely a locals pub as only opens at 3pm even on weekends.
Staff always friendly and welcoming. Nice little beer garden and good value. Our go to when in Fratton.

Friendly, well kept and welcoming pub. Suprisingly a really decent pint of Bombardier. A wine and ale less than 7 quid. We'll worth seeking out, lots of local photos and navy memorabilia making it an interesting place to stop for a beer. Considering how Fratton has gone down hill in the last decade The Electric Arms is a refreshing gem. Use it or lose it. Also of note, the unusual name and lovely red tiling.
Happy Hour 5pm til 7pm, what a bargain. The Boss John is a Top Bloke, the Staff are excellent and friendly, except 1, you'll soon figure her out. Clean, friendly, open, smoking area, most of the punters are nice and welcoming and truthfully, I recommend this place for groups, couples and those who want a decent, good and uninterrupted pint.
