   I would not recommend taking your bike to Halfords. I was quoted £160 for what was described as minor work and told I would have to wait three weeks before the work could even begin. I then took my bike to another garage in Gosport, where the same work was completed for £60 and returned to me the very next day. Based on this experience, I would recommend staying clear of Halfords to avoid being overcharged.

   The Gosport store is close to where I work and as the staff here always provide great personal attention it becomes a pleasure to shop there. If they can't solve a problem it's not because they didn't try and they usually come up trumps. Great attitude, I come away with a good feel even if I didnt purchase anything!

   Not our usual trip to Halfords as this time it was to buy a bike for our daughter instead of car parts. We got served by an amazing lady who asked us questions and was able to advise when would be suitable based on our answers. We left with a new bike and hopefully a very happy daughter when she sees it on her birthday.

As usual Steve was extremely kind, polite, helpful and professional.    Absolutely amazing service last night from Rhiannon and Lucy at Gosport. What a difference from the Park Gate store who massively let me down even though I was booked in and had a confirmation. Rhiannon and Lucy could not have been more accommodating. They talked me through my options triple checked I had the right battery and it was fitted very quickly. So helpful. 10/10

   I went to get some help with fitting a bulb on my car that I'd struggled with for over an hour. They fitted me in really quickly and both Cheryl on the till and Lucy who completed the fitting were wonderful. Lucy gets a special mention as she did a fantastic job despite working in the dark and a downpour. Can't fault my visit at all...thank you!
