Beautiful pub Welcoming staff The lady manager is a beautiful person and went above and beyond for myself and my partner on our very rare date night. The nachos are heavenly. Thank you so much for making our evening so special.
a quiet and intimate atmosphere, so you’d think service would be relatively rapid. on the contrary, we asked for a minute to think about desert ( at no point did we receive a desert menu mind you ) and instead were completely ignored for 45 minutes. we asked the waiter for our bill because we were fed up and were left for ANOTHER 45 minutes. we saw waitresses on their phones in the back, standing there doing nothing, she left before us and so did multiple other tables who got there after us. when the bill came we waited 20 minutes for someone to come back with the card machine before we decided to go up to the bar ( when others were served at their tables) , payed and left.
I had the most delicious Vegan Spicy Bean Katsu Curry. My partner had a small Fish and Chips. Both meals were hot and tasty. It is obviously very popular as the place was packed. The staff were really helpful and friendly too.
Great. Had lunch. Loads of room for the wheelchair. I has small fish and chips. All hot and fresh cooked. My wife had a vegan option. No problems. Would recommend.
Great place for a pub quiz. But be warned if you order and glass of wine and don't like it... Even after one sip. Their attitude is TOUGH!!! At £7 a glass, I think it's a cheek! I only hope they are a little more friendly if you order good morning hats not good. Not that I'll be eating there with that attitude!
Grabbed some lunch here today. Food was great. Fullers pricing so I'm not sure if they are a sister company. The menu needs clarification on which items come with their mains, as we ordered chips based on what it stated on the menu and ended up with too many as the main also came with chips. It wouldn't normally be a problem but the server didn't even mention it to us when we ordered. At the end of the meal we made sure to highlight this to the waitress who told us that it happens all of the time. So why not pre-warn your customers before they pay?! Seems like an easy way to con your customers out of £4 if anything. Other than that, the staff were friendly enough and the place is pristine.
Popped in for lunch. Excellent service from both members of staff. The lovely Lauren is an Everton fan. Happy days. Very comfortable feel to the place, nice bottle of plonk and a sandwich.
Popped in for a coffee whilst the car was being washed and valetted. As it was mid afternoon it was quiet, which suited me. The place was clean and the staff were hospitable and friendly. Sadly, I've dropped a star as the price for the coffee I felt was a little high for a straightforward basic coffee. Overall, a pleasant way to spend an hour.
