Shocking. Paid a premium price for a supposedly low mileage Peugeot engine with 25,000 alleged miles on the clock. Having paid for postage & then to have the engine fitted, it became apparent the engine had a catastrophic oil leak, low oil pressure and a head gasket issue. I was offered £150 for repair of the head gasket as a 'gesture of goodwill'. A derisory offer or told to return the engine. How can I return the engine having paid to have it fitted? I'd then have to pay even more to remove it, let alone return it. Despite multiple requests Green Lane Autos have failed to produce proof of mileage, 25k highly suspicious miles considering the state of the high clutch. I've sent multiple recorded delivery letters requesting my legally entitled repair and been ignored. Trading Standards are currently dealing with my issue through civil court to reclaim my consequential losses and full repair costs. DO NOT use.
