   I do not recommend this workshop. After having my tires replaced, my black alloy wheels were scratched, as if someone had sanded them. It seems the damage occurred during wheel balancing. When I reported the issue, the shop claimed that my wheels were already damaged, which was not true. Instead of taking responsibility, they made excuses. If you care about your wheels, I’d suggest going elsewhere.

   Took my Volvo xc90 in here for a diagnostic check over as I was having a minor issue with the gear selection was charged £72, after payment was made, was told they didn’t have a ramp free so only plugged into the computer and printed out the information and handed it to me. I asked was any faults found, to which I was told don’t know. I left feeling really annoyed as I’m not local and took the day off work to get this diagnosed. Ended up booking my car in with express gearboxes in Portsmouth, they had it 30minutes and came out and told me it was a sensor on my air box and sent me the link for the new part.

   Excellent specialist Volvo garage that do service and general repairs as well as outside Mots to the garage next door. Pricing is about half of a main dealer and lent me a courtesy car. Not given five out of five stars as parkibg is very limited but that is just because of the site not a reflection on Swallows. The guys there are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and kept me up to date. Highly recommended if you are in the area

   Good, reliable local garage. I've had my V40 MOT and service done here and the price was reasonable. I also needed my spark plugs changing unexpectedly and although the work could not be done on the day the issue came up, it was completed within 48 hours. I was able to leave my car with the garage which helped.

   Great service from start to finish. Easy to book in and had a confirmation call from the garage. Friendly staff and honest work even fixing a problem without trying to get additional work out of it when they could have easily said additional work was needed. Very impressed and will be using them again.

   Swallows Volvo are nothing short of outstanding. They look after my XC90 R Design. They are Volvo SME’s, a pleasure to deal with and competitively priced. They offer a free local collect and deliver service which is helpful for those of us who have busy schedules. Highly recommended!
