   As a single mum of two young children who knows nothing about cars Cawte and Elms have gone above and beyond to help me after a disaster with my current car which is now unrepairable. Customer service is second to none, thanks to Mark for going the extra mile and the other staff are friendly and professional also. I cannot recommend this garage enough and now after finding it I won't be going anywhere else :)

   Had my cars mot done here along with the remedial work required to pass. It was the most straightforward, simple and stress free mot I think I've ever had done. They didn't mess about and just told me what I needed to pass and how much it would cost. Didn't feel any pressure from them. They told me when they could do the work and did it within the timescale and price stated, while being polite and friendly the whole time. I will be using this garage for all my work from now on.

   Have used these guys regularly for many years with our two cars. They have always been more than helpful and have never ripped me off. Being a woman that means a lot as some garages up the cost when they see a woman. They have always explained any work done and have often checked things for me without charge.    Have used this garage for over 10yrs. Am so impressed with their customer service, I’m kept up to date with the work being carried out as well as being told any coatings up front. Was very impressed with the COVID precautions they put in place; felt very safe at the garage and that my car had been sanitised before being handed back. Would thoroughly recommend them.

   After 15 plus yrs of using this garage with no problems, I can honestly say I don't think I'd use them again, car failed it's mot, was charged £194 in total as it failed emissions, as they checked other things that could of caused this, still apparently didn't pass, was quoted a bill of £750 with no guarantees possible need for a new engine £1800, car only worth roughly £1200. Paperwork supplied when I decided not to have work done stated no test was carried out , due to blue smoke when I'd been told on phone 2 tests had been carried out, plus it somehow managed to gain 4 miles on the clock over the day and a half they had it. Took car somewhere else, they charged me 180 for different work completely unconnected to emissions, did say there was a small leak but only an advisory level and emissions OK Just don't think I'd trust them again, feel like they were out to make money out of me.
