   Proper service. I go twice a year for summer and winter shoes. My feet are measured each time, and a selection of suitable shoes is brought for me to try. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and it's like putting on a pair of comfortable slippers. Can't recommend highly enough. No idea how much shoes cost elsewhere, but these are excellent value and longlasting.

   I bought some shoes here last year, the gentleman who served me was extremely professional and helpful, the shoes turned out to be some of the best I have ever owned, so much so that I have returned recently and purchased the same shoes in both black and brown and received the same wonderful level of service. Delighted to find such a unique business right here on my doorstep where the service is of a bygone age and really appreciated by this satisfied customer.

   Gentleman who served me was so helpful, measured my feet, advised on sizing and even put an insert in one shoe so they fitted perfectly (one foot slightly bigger than other). Only wish shop was nearer. Good range of shoes and quality brands.
