My son attended as a walk in appointment and all I can say is what an amazing experience and he was so pleased with your service. I have called again today and we have booked in for next week to have his hair corn rows again - anyone interested in what’s good for your hair, feedback and professionalism look no further 10/10
So this is a review about an appointment I made for yesterday to get twist done in my hair. Initially I thought my hair was long enough. However they suggested that I get extensions done which was fine however upon starting my routine they did not wash my hair at all which is obviously incorrect way to style anybody’s hair. Secondly, they didn’t put any gel or cream in my hair to keep them intact. The lady who I presume was a relative to the actual owner of the store and was probably wasn’t a licensed hairdresser who decided to do it or dry. It’s been less than 24 hours since my appointment and the twist are already starting to come out and which they charge me £50. Also trying to communicate with this lady who I’m sure doesn’t even have a license to do someone’s hair couldn’t give me any advice of how to maintain it, I knew I was being ripped off afterwards when I asked her, how should I keep the twist in? If there’s no rubber bands on the end. she really simply replied since you have extensions, they should just stay in. I’ve never in my life feel so betrayed.
Thank you to the wonderful ladies who helped both myself and my mum today. We came accross your shop/salon after looking online. Very welcoming. I came in for clip in hair extensions and a pony tail and you matched it so well for me and the length is perfect! affordable prices and great chat! You even made my mums day with helping her with some extensions for added length to her hair. We will definitely be returning and very interested in the weaves for next time. Thank you also for taking the time to talk to my two girls, they really enjoyed visiting your shop just as much as we did.
I've been coming here for some time now with my daughter, however my recent visit has resulted me taking my custom elsewhere in future. I had booked in for box braids originally without extensions and was quoted £50 without extensions or £70 with extensions (this is the normal price I have paid here and have messages to prove price quoted). When I arrived I confirmed i would like box braids however I have changed my mine and would like extensions. We chose the hair and they got work. This normally does take up to 2 hours, which is fine however when coming to pay I wad informed it l would be £124 I explained why and she said this is the price however looking at my daughters hair it's not box braids and is single braids. At no point from 10am until we left at 12.30pm was I informed of the price and what style they were doing when had specifically asked for box braids. I had sent a message to dispute this the next day and to see if anything can be done in relation to the extra £50 that was charged for a style i never requested and was basically told to go elsewhere next time. I was informed this style would also last a few months, however already starting to fall out after one week. I am awaiting confirmation now from trading standards for my next steps on how to take the matter further.

My wife has had her hair braided many times by different people over the years she visited queen malaika’s today they were so friendly and helpful her hair looks amazing would highly recommend
DO NOT GET YOUR EYELASHES DONE FROM HERE. I had my eye lashes done they only lasted less than 19 hours before they started falling off. They weren’t in the correct order. Complete waste of money. The service was very bad the way they talk to customers as if they weren’t the owners of the shop. The Caucasian girl that works in there is very unhelpful, always seem very unhappy to have customers,whenever you ask for something “we don’t have it” without even looking considering they have two shops.
Excellent customer service. Love lady did my hair exactly the way I wanted, to be honest even better than the picture. Student discount was also applied. Would definitely recommend going to this hair salon for braids.
