   I booked the pets at home half term workshop today which was FREE. Katie was running the workshop today and she was absolutely fabulous, she was kind, patient and knowledgeable. My son thoroughly enjoyed cuddling and learning all about the Guinea pigs, he learnt how to give them a health check too which was lovely. Afterwards we went over to the fish and learnt all about the different species and even saw some water snail eggs at the top of the tank which was very interesting, then my son was allowed to feed them. There were cute bunny rabbits, hamsters and other small furries to look at which were adorable and we didn’t feel rushed at all. At the end of the workshop session my son was given a small activity box to take and complete at home which included two balloons and an activity sheet. (Very nice touch) All in all we are very happy we decided to book the workshop, I’d highly recommend it and I honestly can’t believe it was free. Thank you Katie!

   Nice clean store. Cat products are mainly upstairs plus they have a vet in store. They have lots of dog products and other animal products. Friendly helpful staff as well. I believe they are open until 7pm during the week.

   Plenty of choice,however the service you get can be hit or miss depending on which staff are on duty, some are very knowledgeable and others do not have much idea. If item is not in stock they are able to order for you, if as in my case I was looking for a dog coat , you really need to know the size before ordering which became difficult to do. Not much customer space by the till area especially as many customers take there pets in.

   Visited this branch to get a small crate. Asked a member of staff and was just told "yeah over there". Over there was the top shelf well over 6ft high. They didn't have the size I needed so when I asked if they had any out back, was just simply told no and might be in tomorrow. Could also see another customer looking confused about joint care for her dog, with no staff approaching to help. Poor service overall.

   We went here to stock up on everything we needed for our new puppy. The store had everything you could want to look after your new furry friend. We also spoke to Katie at the till who was so friendly and helpful. She showed us the benefits of the VIP club and made sure we had everything we needed. She made the experience really reassuring and easy - thank you Katie!
