Very popular Coffee outlet located outside Hulls main shopping area. Eat in or out in good surroundings. Varied sandwiches available hot or cold along with pastries and cakes. Internet available.

I’ve been coming to this Caffè Nero for a long time, and it used to be my favourite spot. Unfortunately, the quality and professionalism have changed a lot recently. The last few times I visited, it seemed like new staff were being trained, and while I understand mistakes can happen, my orders have been consistently wrong. Even when the drink is technically correct, the presentation has really gone downhill. For the new limited-edition drinks like the Baileys and the Tiramisu latte, I haven’t been getting the sponge or cocoa on top, and sometimes the syrups are missing altogether—leaving me with just a regular latte. I’m disappointed because this branch used to be so reliable, and I know they can do better. This doesn’t mean I’ll stop coming, but I hope management takes a closer look at what’s going on so the experience can get back to the level it used to be.

It's amazing how quality varies between coffee shops in the same chain. This site outside St Stephens shopping centre is a good Nero, always popular, often crowded, but the staff are friendly and helpful. The coffee's are great, and there's a choice of indoor and outdoor seating. We always go this Nero as we find the other Nero near Saville Street to be the opposite. Again another visit, staff friendly and helpful, good atmosphere. Tables changed to higher level tables with higher chairs, preferred the lower level set up comfier and more lounge able. Located just outside St Stephens shopping centre and next to Hull rail station.

Absolutely useless service every single day. Always a massive queue and the staff move at a snail’s pace. You’ll be lucky to get a coffee in under 20 minutes. Total joke.”

I recently visited Cafe Nero in Hull and had a great experience. The staff were super friendly, especially the chap who was very bubbly. He made me feel very welcome and took the time to chat to me about my order. The cafe itself was very presentable and clean. The tables were all wiped down and the floors were spotless. My order was made quickly and I was able to enjoy my coffee and cake in peace. I would definitely recommend Cafe Nero to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a friendly atmosphere. Here are some specific details about my experience: The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They made me feel comfortable and at home. The cafe was clean and tidy. The tables were wiped down and the floors were spotless. My order was made quickly and efficiently. I didn't have to wait long for my coffee and cake. The coffee was delicious. It was strong and flavorful, just the way I like it. The cake was also delicious. It was moist and flavorful, and the frosting was the perfect amount of sweet. Overall, I had a great experience at Cafe Nero. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a friendly atmosphere.

I’ve been using this coffee shop since it’s opening and in all the time I’ve never had such bad service as I’ve had the last couple of months, couple of the female staff are so rude have no customer service skills, and seem to think they can serve people coffee that tastes burnt and muddy. And talk to customers in such a bad manner. First it was burnt tasting coffee’s and then it was getting my orders wrong. Now it’s bad attitude. Two women yesterday one blonde one brunette both really bad attitudes, one woman shouting at customers like it’s cattle and the other clearly not listening to customers orders getting them wrong and when told the order was for a takeaway the member of staff blamed the customer in front of a line of people, and frankly it was really bad taste. So rude. So meny people are complaining about there bad attitudes but nobody puts a review so here I am. Get a better attitude and customer service skills or get a new job! There are some lovely people working there that really deserve a fantastic review. But unfortunately these particular bad members of staff are stealing the spotlight. I really don’t like going there anymore me and my friends walk past to see who’s working before deciding to go in.

Great coffee and good selection of snacks (although these are quite pricey). Staff are lovely and I tend to pop in most weeks. The cafe itself is clean but tables are not always cleared very quickly and the toilet is often dirty.

Came in to get an iced cinnamon swirl latte and both the drink and staff were amazing, they were so bubbly and kind and made my day, the atmosphere is also nice, love it here
