Quaint tearoom tucked away near the car park for Zebedee's Yard, in the city centre. They have an entire tea menu, where you can browse a selection of black, green, white and herbal teas from around the world, such as the wide varieties of Chinese teas, Indian teas such as Darjeeling and Assam tea, even African teas, such as kosabei tea from Kenya, all ethnically sourced, by the way. They also have coffee and food, and the staff, the staff are super friendly, will help you with your needs. Thank you, Rhys

Yesterday, we found another hidden gem in Hull, tucked away in a small side street off Whitefriargate. Liquid Jade has many, many black, green and white teas to drink (a refreshing change from coffee for us. Don't worry, cappuccinos, lattes etc are available too). We had the warm falafel salad with pitta bread and the beef panini. Delicious. For tea, we chose a pot each of the Yunnan Black Tea and the Rose Tea from China. Lovely pairings to our food. This will be a regular place to patronise whenever we're in Hull.

Was in town, popped in a for a quick brew and to my surprise they do a breakfast now, bonus! As always staff and owner fantastic. Will have to find reason to be in town in the morning again, to try the Sausage butty.

I visited Hull for a weekend, and you know what? I found my favorite spot here! It's an amazing place in Hull! The food was so delicious, and the menu is full of GF and vegan options. The halloumi salads, falafel wrap, and cheesy toast were really good. We also loved the matcha and the blue latte with spirulinaβdefinitely worth a try! The place is full of cozy details, very clean and aesthetic. It has outside seating as well. It's located in the city center, but away from all the busy streets. So, if you want a quiet, lovely place with an amazing, smiling, and friendly team, this place is for you. They also have incredible options and so many varieties of teas, which you can enjoy while sitting there or take home. The lovely and super helpful lady, who is the owner, was super nice and mindful while we were choosing our teas! Highly recommendβdonβt miss this spot in Hull!

Why have I never been in Liquid Jade until today? I have no idea because it is absolute gorgeous! To be fair, it is tucked away through a passage at the side of The Works, but it obviously has a great following as lots of customers arrived during my prolonged tea and cake break. The main entrance into the cafe is via a short flight of steps but there is a lovely courtyard seating area which is just a few feet further on and on the level. Decor is lovely-lots of local photographs, splashes of bright sunny yellow and colourful furniture. The staff are lovely and service very quick. Good to see gluten-free cake options. I just had tea and gluten free cake but all the food looked and smelled very tasty. Will definitely visit again.

It's a hidden gem. A small compact delightful cafe with wonderful coffees and an incredible selection of teas. The food choices are limited but what is on offer is superb. The staff could not be better offering an exception level of customer service. Shouldn't really be telling you this I might not get a table on my next visit

A very warm welcome from the owner and staff. A proper stuffed toasties ( half eaten in the photo as is was too good before I took the photo) Clean, bright and tidy with a nice play list. Good selection of teas that come in pots and lasts 4 to 5 cups. Lovely hidden gem.
