This is a good sized co-op for the village. I can honestly find most things I need here. It can get a little chaotic when they're restocking but staff will always stop what they're doing and help if you can't find something. The car park can get busy but can't grumble as the fact that they have parking is a definite bonus!
Love this shop, small population of people get to shoplift daily because management are too tight for security to stop it. Now everyone is doing it. So if you want free stuff, place to go apparently
Staff are poorly trained and unbelievably rude at the post office. They still have no idea what click and drop is after 6 years of the service being introudcued and still scan and weigh every single parcel, even though i've paid extra for the convenience of click and drop, and the labels are pre-paid and pre-weighed. Bosham, Emsworth and Hambrook Co-ops take the parcels and i'm in and out within seconds. Southbourne it's a half hour task. When i mention it's click and drop they try and gaslight me and make me seem like i'm talking absolute gibberish. Also, Special delivery guaranteed parcels are dispatched when they feel like it.

This is the second time I had a letter returned to me that I had send because the postage wasn‘t enough and got returned to my address by Royal Mail. It was an important letter too, so had to send it again to my expense. Because it happened the second time, I will take this further. Staff need to be more trained to work in the postoffice!!! Won‘t be using this Co op post office in Southbourne again.
I visited the store this evening. Yet again for another member of to be rude I might add not the first time I found the lady very rude . I appreciate the job is difficult and I am always the first to praise the shop staff. But on several occasions on visiting my local store I have found several members of staff very rude and abrupt yes we all have to be be careful and of course social distance. But I haven't got the plague. I think I will be going elsewhere from now on
This store continues to he one of the worse co-op stores I've visited. Was here visiting last summer 2018, and in 2017 on 3 separate occasions and I can honestly say standards don't seem to have improved. Staff appear to have changed but the store itself is still under stocked always looks untidy and generally feels uncomfortable sorry folks.
