How does one even begin to describe the Hop & Vine? There we were, walking through the rainy streets of Hull on a cold October evening, when we were invited in by the warm glow of a townhouse basement. While unassuming at first, the sheltered warmth brought with it the cheerful rumble and scattered laughter of well-acquainted regulars. Immediately, we were welcomed in and made to feel at home. This is a place where community meets quality, and glasses clink over heartfelt chatter. This is a place where you will be remembered not only by name but also by character. The drinks flow throughout the night, yet you will leave with change in your pocket and a heart that is full.

This quaint pub is a hidden treasure! Upon entry you can be welcomed by the scent of hops on the vine - as per the name. The array of alcoholic beverages is vast and obscure in range. The occupants are always friendly andhave appreciation for fine alcoholic beverages. Tony (landlord) and Kellie were a delight. This little secluded pub is definitely a high contender and is evident with their many awards over the years. I'll definitely return next year!

Without doubt you’ll get Michelin starred service in here if you can navigate the steps into this cellar bar. Top class selection of cask ales on and so handy for the Railway Station. Check FB for opening times as they do change. Only food on at the moment - cheese & biscuits.

Popped in for one pint and we stayed for four. Enjoyed it that much and then went for the train home so didn't see much. Just our type of pub so it's a good job that it's not our local.

Great basement bar close to train and bus station. 3 to 4 real ales and usually a choice of six real ciders.

I've been to this little pub a few times now and love it. Being a real cider fan I'm a big fan of this pub as it has a good selection of real ciders to try. Very welcoming staff and locals to chat to. Recommended to anyone looking for a unique friendly pub. Firmly on my list of fave pubs in Hull.
