Amazing food, amazing pub, I've used this pub for years and we love it, clean, tidy and a 5 star score on the doors! What more could we ask. Looking forward to the weekend disco. We'll definitely see you then.
I went here with my Mum but we got there a bit late we got there at 2:35 they ran out of roast dinner by then. But I went with my support worker about 3 weeks later and it was excellent one of the best roast dinners I have ever had fantastic beef melted in mouth. I’m rang my mum she said we will have to go then. I drink with a couple in Cross Keys Pub they also say the food is fantastic in the Rising Sun and they love the roast dinners.
Nice little local boozer. Staff are friendly and management are always welcoming. Food is good and reasonably priced and there’s a few different drinks offers on all day everyday
Fantastic Sunday dinner. I had the beef and Gammon and both were amazing, beef was melt in the mouth, Yorkshire puddings were huge, proper homemade ones. Can't recommend this place enough
The service and Sunday lunches are amazing. Friendly local pub that has a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend for chippy Friday too. We'll see you again really soon.

Love this pub!!! It's a great local friendly pub. We've been coming in here for years and we are always made to feel welcome. Vickie is a credit to rising sun and her Sunday lunches are amazing, so if you haven't tried them you should as you certainly won't be disappointed. Highly recommended.
A great place to unwind, enjoy some local hospitality and meet up with friends. The staff are great, the building and decor warm and inviting, and prices very reasonable. The food is delicious and great value, the weekday specials fab. I love my local. Thanks Rob and Vicky for doing a great job.
Visited Rising Sun for Sunday Lunch, I highly recommend. I had the roast beef and was amazing, tender and tasty. The food arrived piping hot and service was excellent. I could not fault any part, Yorkshire puddings, veg and gravy all cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back! Thank you!
