Popped in last night for mad Friday, vibes was brilliant and 10/10 performance from the dancing bar staff! Drinks are cheap. Staff are friendly, perfect atmosphere. Amazing music. Place is so clean and tidy and the new owners have really spruced up the place! Brilliant job they both have done!! Will definitely be coming back:
Lovely little pub! Staff made you feel welcome immediately, like visiting old friends. Cheap drinks. Dog friendly, even brought out a toy for him.
Under new management who have cleaned the place up and redecorating the pub which looks amazing. Can't wait to come back in a few weeks and see how its changed x
When I walked in the bar was empty, apart from 2 people sitting at a table at the door,one man,one woman I got to the bar. I didn't wait much time at all before the woman behind me got up and went behind the bar. Always a good look to beat the bar staff to the bar. She didn't say anything. Just gave me that chin up eyebrows raised 'what' look. The beer was okay,the pub on the other hand stank. Musty,not nice smell. I wont be back.
This was a relaxing pub for drinking, with a throwback design incorporating lights during the Christmas season! The lining throughout and frames on the wall add to this design, counter is neat and staff were welcoming. I enjoyed a pint of San Miguel, sitting at the comfortable cushioned seating in the cleanliness of the quiet area!
Old historic pub in the heart of Hull's Old Town. Decent real ales served on hand pumps. The modernised interior slightly spoils it. Within a few hundred yards of six pubs ideally placed for a pub crawl definitely worth a visit.
Had a business outing a few weeks ago and met up at the Manchester Arms. Lovely little pub, warm and welcoming. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will certainly be returning the next time we're in Hull City Centre. Great selection of bar drinks too. Thank you for hospitality.
Great atmosphere and a lot of character to both the venue and the staff! Always friendly banter and service with a chin wag when its quieter. Well known for it's tasty 'Sh!t on the grass', served in multiple of 4s, not 3s or 5s, but they are so easy going down there's no harm in having 2 yourself if there's an extra one left over!
Dog friendly and child friendly. This place is what you expect of a pub, warm and cosy feel to it. The male bartender was friendly and approachable, but each of our group where made to feel a tad uncomfortable with one of the bar staff constantly handing out stern looks. Others where drinking beer and it looked fairly flat, maybe we popped on the wrong day and they where at the bottom of the barrel. Major plus on being dog and child friendly though, was nice to sit in and have a quiet drink with the dog and children in tow.
