   St Johns is my favourite Hull pub. Always a good range of beers with lots of new ones and always a friendly welcome. The old style layout in smallish rooms is how pubs should be. No massive TVs, darts and pool available. Never change! Tuesday nights are great local musician showcases: "tuesday at the tap" on youtube is worth a look!

   A fabulous traditional multi-room pub serving quality hand-pulled real ale. Friendly staff an absolute gem. If you want a good pint of beer in a proper traditional pub rather than some place pretending to be a Michelin-starred restaurant then this is the place for you.

   A great traditional pub, serving well-kept, hand-pulled ales and a winner of several CAMRA awards as a result. Decent pool table and juke box in a separate room, with individual lounge and bar areas. There's a large beer garden that hosts live events in the warmer months as well as live music in the pool room most Tuesdays. I've always found the staff to be friendly and professional and there's a nice mix of people of all ages and character. Would recommend St Johns to anyone wanting a decent pint in relaxed surroundings.
