Well, Chris saved the day!! I expected a delivery between 5.30pm and 6.30pm. I chased and was told it might not be delivered. Then I had an email cancelling it. So, as we were having a lunch party the next day, my husband dashed off to find things late on Saturday night. 9.15pm and Chris called. He explained there had been a breakdown but he could get to us around 10pm. Sure enough, Chris arrived and kept apologising all the time. What superb service!!! Yes, I was annoyed earlier in the evening, but the outcome exceeded expectations. Thank you Horndean!

I never thought I’d be leaving a review on a supermarket but this was chaos. No trolleys or baskets available, couldn’t even get a basket from one of the checkouts because once you’re in you’re trapped by the one way gates. There were multiple loud alarms going off in the entrance and fruit/veg area that no one was trying to solve. Why is there two arm chairs and a coffee table in the aisle at the back?! Generally pretty messy in area too.

Credit where it’s due! I wanted to order a cookie birthday cake and it really wasn’t very clear on the website how I could order it. I went in store and asked on the customer service desk, who although unsure themselves, got me a manager called Loz, he went above and beyond to take all the details and made sure that my order was placed and was ready for collection when I needed it! Thank you I have one very happy nephew.

I'm not sure what is going on in Morrisons Horndean this evening, because it is absolutely freezing. I was so cold that I had to give up on doing my shopping because my teeth were chattering. We left the shop and it was noticeably several degrees warmer outside the shop.

Review of Morrison’s Cafe Vegetarian Breakfast My vegetarian friend and I enjoyed trying the vegetarian breakfast at Morrison’s Cafe this morning, and overall, it was a delightful experience! The dish featured a great variety of fresh, flavorful ingredients, making it a satisfying choice for vegetarians and anyone seeking a hearty, meat-free morning meal. The portion size was generous—perfect for a full breakfast. My scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection, while the beans, mushrooms, and avocado added a lovely earthy flavor and texture. I opted for a rich, tasty hot chocolate, and my friend enjoyed a classic cup of tea. All in all, Morrison’s vegetarian breakfast is a solid, delicious option that caters well to vegetarian diners. I would definitely recommend it as a wholesome way to start the day!

This store has really gone downhill in the last 12-18 months. The whole shop is looking very shabby and in need of a refurb and update. Availability of items is very hit and miss. Lots of empty shelves every time I go in. They never have what I am looking for. Chicken counter seems to shut before lunchtime. Salad bar selection was poor. It’s also a very expensive shop for what it is. There is only ever 1 checkout open with an actual person serving. Lots of self service checkouts…but no one seems to be around to help when you have any issues with them. This used to be a pretty good store with a convenient location. But honestly, I think it’s worth driving elsewhere now. Also forgot to mention the boy racers who now use the car park for a race track at certain weekends of the month.

Excellent choice of food. Very low prices. Good quality of their own label products. Very helpful staff. Doesn't get any better!

Really gone down hill this year, clearly not enough staff. Warm food or salad bar is a gamble depending who's working that day. No longer a shop you can go to to buy what you want, you have to see what they have.. would appear since take-over the new owners are just running the place into the ground, while increasing some prices by 40-50%

This Morrisons is decent enough. Clean, well lit and has a large area with all the usual food and drink you would expect in any Morrisons. However it would be much better if more traditional tills with more staff on them were open. What you get in this specific store is a heavy use of the self service area and hybrid traditional / hybrid style checkouts. This is my only criticism of this store. Decent enough selection of food here for the store size and offers are varied. I wouldn't do a full shop here but it's fine for a top up shop.

A decent Morrison’s with plenty of space and good fruit and veg. Visited late in the day and there was loads of reductions in the different departments. Picked up a few bargains! Handy little homeware department and great to see the salad bar back open.
