   The New Griffin is a lovely pub with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. It’s well-kept, has a great look, and offers drinks at very reasonable prices. A solid choice for a casual and affordable night out.

   Found the Pub on the way to the MKM Stadium at Hull, great little place gets rammed. Bar staff fantastic, Chatty but efficient, which they have to be for volume of custom. Good selection of beers, had one or two, and crisps, then onwards with a full tank for the footy. Made a note of it in case.

   I can't comment on food as we didn't eat there. We went there pre-match for the Rugby Derby. The atmosphere was nice and friendly with Mainly home fans (Hull FC) in . And a small handful of Rovers fans in. There was no Trouble. The staff were friendly. There was playful Rivalry between fans which added to the atmosphere. And to be honest as an FC Fan this was the highlight of the night as we were dreadful on the pitch.

   The Griffin is a large pub in the former Midlands bank on Anlaby Road. This lively community pub has plenty of events on, including live music, karaoke and DJs. There is a wide range of beers and cider including John Smith's bitter and worthingtons cream flow, sadly no cask conditioned real ale. There is a big stage in the lounge for Live bands, a pool table and dart board. Outside there is a large walled car park. The staff are very friendly, this is a good pub for a lively entertaining evening. Beer garden and dog friendly.

   First visit in 25 yes. Liked the atmosphere,cheap drinks. Bar staff very sociable. Evening entertainment on week ends. Sunday afternoon local DJ ,with bingo ,play your cards right ,etc, Worth a visit

   Landlady is lovely and helpful, kids are allowed in and dogs. Tuesday afternoon bingo is fun but landlord was drunk and discredited people questioning claims about cards games.

   Good old friendly pub, what I call a good working man's & ladies pub. Old fashioned decor, no bells & whistles here. The important things are good tho... Good beers & friendly staff & the pub has a good vibe about it.
