Parkers, formerly known as the Boot Room (I’m fairly sure), is a cozy pub with a friendly vibe. The staff are very nice, and the locals are chatty, making it a welcoming place to hang out. There’s a pool table for some fun, and the bar is well-stocked. A great spot to relax and enjoy a drink with good company.

Popped in for a quick pint on saturday afternoon, pub was reasonably busy with locals enjoying themselves, playing pool and darts.mixed age range great atmosphere will definately return and would recommend this pub. The gents was still a pot trough from the old days lol except it was outside in my day.

Went for a drink as a visiting away fan to hull football club. Good atmosphere but drinks served in plastic cups so was flat. Long que time as not enough staff on. But overall nuce pub for a few drinks with a good space outside

Parkers (formally the Newington) has new management and undergoing refurbishment. One half of the pub is black and amber the other half black and white, Very popular on match days. There is the usual choice of beers and lagers, sadly no cask conditioned real ale. A community pub with two dartboards and a pool table. Nice friendly staff, outside seating and a large car park.

I like parkers, but they need more staff on for game days, nobody likes to wait and the jostling for service often causes conflict.

Great location for a sports bar..minutes walk away from the arena..was great to be in Hull...the owners were just like golden ticket winners off the Branshome

It's become a bit of an anniversary tradition that my partner and I stop by for a few drinks before we make our way home from visiting Hull fair. Everytime we've been in the staff have been lovely, the drinks well made and fairly priced and the venue is well kept and cosy. Thank you for having us, hope to see you next again year!

I will never step foot on these premises again! The owner/landlady whatever she calls herself (let’s just call her ‘Karen’ for now) is a disrespectful, argumentative piece of work. I sincerely hope Karen learns some manners or treats individuals nicely with just basic respect in the future. Until then, I would rather attempt to swallow a golf ball sugar-coated in broken glass or gouge my eyes out with teaspoons than return here. Very unprofessional and unhygienic!
