I have set up balloon displays numerous times at this venue and the bar staff are always so lovely. Great back room for private parties and functions with its own bar. As well as lots of space for large balloon displays, Eve and Steve are always helpful when I’m there.
Just been to this pub for a wedding reception what a rip off ,you couldn't go into the bar they locked the door into the bar when questioned was told was doing what I was told and prices were extortionate I don't mind paying but come on 95p for a splash of lemonade I won't be going in that pub again
We had our local grassroots football teams presentation party here last night, the fuction room was brilliant and free!, the owner Steve is lovely and will help with any request!, staff just as friendly, we had a fantastic night and will be back!
The spotted dog is a 1960s pub. There is a good choice of beers and lagers including worthingtons bitter, sadly no cask conditioned real ale, but the beer is nice and cheap. It's a real community pub, the staff and customers are very friendly and welcoming. The nice comfortable bar has darts and a pool table. There is a separate Lounge for functions and events. There is a lot going on at this pub, live music, DJ Northern Soul night, charity events, ect. It's a nice pub definitely worth visiting if you are in the area.

As a DJ I Found the technology amazing. No need for speakers or lights, one lead and you're good to go. Mark the boss is a very nice chap. Very clean toilets and loo roll too. 5 stars from DJ Shazza.
Always enjoy stopping off for a couple in spotted. The beers well kept and there's a nice sheltered smoking garden at the back
