Nice welcome by staff upon arrival Abbie was our waitress and was very friendly and pleasant, as was the chap serving. Food was nice the serving was okay, but no sprouts on Christmas day? I did mention it to the man who said he would remind the chefs. We didnt feel rushed during our meal.
Friendly staff and a selection of staple drinks found in most pubs. We visited after attending a funeral and decided to eat also. The food was nice and very reasonably priced. It was great to see a NGCI menu (although no gluten free bread was a disappointment as the coeliac sufferer had ordered a burger). We would call again if we are in the area.
Great venue for any special occasion! Large function rooms, with bar in all of them. The staff are very lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. Functions rooms are massive and hold large balloon displays very well, the rooms look brilliant when dressed up. Always a pleasure working here!
I can't go into too much detail as I was here for a wedding, but the typical "wedding" food spread was plentiful and overwhelming! The room was a good size for the number of people there. Toilets was closed by, also a disability toilet with a small lift to bypass the stairs. The car parking has plenty of spaces and only a few steps from the building. All in all, we had a good day there.
Very big pub. Plenty of space. Friendly staff, good range of food and lots of extra events / activities offered through the year. Plenty of free parking. The place is pretty clean and the staff are helpful. I would go again as the food was good.
This is a large pub located on the corner of Cottingham Road with a large car park. There is always a full program of events with something planned for each evening, something for everyone. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of traditional pub grub and plenty of drinks to choose from including tea and coffee. There is ample seating for small or large groups and TVs, pool table etc. Great for a gathering
Had my Mums Wake here in the Kenilworth Suite. Was a lovely room dressed really nice, we used their projector and music system which a young barman sorted all as i wouldnt know were to start lol. The food was amazing really well done to Paula on the lovely buffet. Had alot of compliments on the food and how well it was presented too. All the staff was really helpful and polite...made my Mums Wake go so smoothly and cannot thank them enough xxx
Lots of places have changed over the last year or so. Goodfellowship has not, their menu maybe reduced but their service has not. Had a wonderful meal with elderly Mother and disabled Sister. Also staff were very informative, we asked about events that played out before the covid issue. Glad the over 50s is happening we will be attending, especially my 85 year old mum who loves to dance....with anybody......???
