    Small children’s clothing selection for such a big store, and the customer service was disappointing. Two staff members said they couldn’t leave their tills (ground floor) when I asked for help finding children’s hats. They could have called another colleague or given clearer guidance instead of just saying no. I decided to go elsewhere and spend money-definitely room for improved service and stock.

    It's a toss up between Hedge End and Whiteley stores but Hedge End has more than the edge on space and I like the downstairs café, much quieter than upstairs. Loved the more peaceful ambience of Whiteley though and I can usually find what I want.

    This review is for the cafe (Whiteley). I've eaten here before and didn't have any complaints however this time I was really disappointed. The coffee was terrible, virtually tasteless, my cheese and tuna toasty was good but my wife's veggy toasty was disgusting. It had a very strange smell and taste. In addition, a lot of the tables including ours, were dirty. It seemed like the staff were run off their feet but despite this they were all very polite and friendly so absolutely no criticism there. I think M&S need to recruit more staff and review the quality of their food. Hopefully they'll sort out these issues as we enjoy shopping here.

    As usual a great Store. It was Sale time today. Most Summer Clothes/Shoes etc on 50% Sale. Great coffee shop. Must have had a new Buyer as a great choice of new styles and colours not seen for a long time. Just lacking in clothes for 5 foot 3 and under. Hardly ever clothes for short people.Always regular and tall.

    The cafe is generally very good, food quality very good & staff friendly. However today we ordered a sausage ciabatta, very nice but seems to have shrunk considerably, disappointing. The roll is so small that the sliced sausages kept falling out. Come M&S stop being stingy with the size of the rolls. That is a tea spoon in the photo, for comparison.

    Review for M&S Cafe in Whitely. Would like to thank Amanda working on 8th March 23 at 9:30am. Pleasantly surprised with our visit. My partner and I fancied the eggs benedict as a ceoliac i didnt see an option for this. We spoke to Amanda serving and she made it happen! She explained they were unable to make it up or toast the roll but they could bring it all out separately so I could make my own. Very enjoyable with very helpful staff who are all well trained.

    A large store with foodhall. Covers most things clothes and housewares too. Good quality has returned here and well worth a visit. Styles getting there but still struggling to tick all my boxes on clothing. Food is great and go here often.
