   I booked this garage as the reviews are really good… Car needed a brake fault repairing just a pedal that travelled too far on braking… the lovely lady informed of what had been diagnosed it’s not something they fix, come collect car having collected car noticed it’s now making the loudest noise which it didn’t have … car taken back to be told we haven’t touch the car it’s not something we’ve done… leave it with us and we’ll eventually sort it!!! Car didn’t get left as I was fuming!! Bad customer service ..

   Our local garage closed so I ended up using Stoneacre for my service which turned out to be a poor decision after they tried to persuade me to let them carry out £600 worth of work with my car. My Father is a retired mechanic so I suspected that they were trying to just get money out of me & took my car to Lowgate Garage for a second opinion on the list of requirements given. This garage not only confirmed my suspicions by agreeing with only one thing on the list, but they didn’t even charge me! When collecting my car a lady who has used them for a while said how fantastic they are & highly recommended them. I’ve now found my trusted garage (which is sadly so rare these days) & booked in my MOT with them.

   Needed some work doing on my Mitsubishi Outlander, had a problem with he exhaust which nobody would help with. Contacted Lowgate, booked me in for some welding, completed with no issues. Price was simply amazing too. Excellent service, will now be using these as my regular garage.

   I have been using lowgate garage for over 30 years, for my daily drivers and my classics. I have always been pleased with the work done, whether it be MOT and servicing or something more complex. They have always been more than happy to work on one of my old American cars, where some garages have point Blank refused. They did a beautiful job replacing the fuel lines and all the brake pipes on my old American car. They have even advised me when I've taken a car in for some work if it wasn't worth spending the money on and just to get rid of it. A lot of garages would be happy just to Take the Money and do the work. They have a really good team and look after their customers.

   The only garage I would ever use. It probably isn't the cheapest but it certainly is the most honest, I have never been charged for anything that wasn't 100% necessary.The reception is extremely friendly and helpful and as I am the kind of person who is practically totally ignorant about car mechanics I'm never felt belittled.

   Brilliant garage, I have been using their services for around 10 Years now, had lots of new cars serviced and maintained here because I have had poor main dealer service in the past. I always request genuine parts to keep my cars warranty valid. Never had any issues recommended all my friends and family here too!
