   Fabulous experience 3 times in 1 week with tge sam young lady looking after us. Sam, thank you so mich for your attention to detail in everyway, you exceeded expectations in all areas on each visit i had with 3 different people. This was is oct, i forgot to review earlier but just found the card! Tge food was also outstanding and great value for money, each experience. Thankyou to tge chefs for that! Kind regards.

   Pop in regularly when I take my mum out for lunch. Wether we have a reservation or not, we've always been accommodated with a smile and no fuss. Menu is extensive enough to provide something for all tastes and all very easy on the wallet too. A special shout out to one of the waitresses, whose been there pretty much every time we've been. Sam is always smiley and bubbly, nothing is too much trouble for her as she flits about with orders and bills, handling even the busiest of periods in style and still with a smile!

   Stayed at the Premier Inn which was situated at the rear of the Red Lion so had both breakfast and evening meal as part of a meal-deal. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order, there was plenty of choice on the menu and refillable hot tea or coffee. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food arrived promptly and was hot. Plenty of choice of bread, muffins, crumpets etc and two large toasters. I would certainly recommend a visit if staying at Premier Inn Horndean.

   Gammon so raw I thought it was gonna walk off the plate and arrest me. Was tempted by the ice cream sundae until my cauliflower cheese came out ice cold. I’m worried that the sundae would come out on fire. Service was the only saving grace

   The food arrived really quickly and once arrived was very lovely. Me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our starter, main and dessert all came to our table within an hour of us being there. The waiter was very lovely (Sam) and was regularly checking on us making sure we were happy with our meal and if we needed anything. The seating is perfect, nicely separated from others and not too close. Would definitely recommend, will be returning.

   Superb service for breakfast whilst staying at the premier Inn. Fantastic staff excellent food. A perfect pub too. 3 years we have been visiting the Red Lion and cannot fault it's homely and welcoming atmosphere. Matt and Janet are wonderful hosts and always a pleasure to meet.

   We enjoyed the festive menu, excellent value for money with a voucher. I felt the child beef burger was a little underdone however I did not notice this until my daughter had eaten most of it fortunately she wasn't Ill. I was not keen on the after eight sundae, the ice-cream froze the chocolates. Disappointed that they were not able to sell me a 125ml glass of wine so I had to go without as any more is too much for me at the moment. Don't expect that from a pub! Had to wait a long time to order dessert and get the bill in part maybe due to a large table arriving but not great when it's getting late and have two small children. All in all a value family friendly meal but I wouldn't rush back in a hurry.

   Really disappointing Christmas Day booking when price is also a a premium Lots of people complaining as the service was dire, food not up to much either and even when asking for Cranberry Sauce for Turkey (pretty normal) they went to get but never came back! Sign outside mentioned they cater for respectful wakes and probably due to the service and how so many guests felt about it then the atmosphere was like a Wake on our visit yet it was Christmas Day! High price which is expected for Christmas Day but would expect a better experience

   The food was good for a reasonable price, drinks were expensive but I suppose no more expensive than any where else in the area. The pub is clean and tidy with friendly and helpful staff, there is parking at the rear and plenty of seating.
