    I am extremely disappointed with Chisholm Hunter. My most recent experience has been nothing short of frustrating. In November 2024, we purchased an eternity ring from them during their Black Friday sale, but my husband kept it aside and it was not given to me or worn until my 30th birthday in April 2025. By August 2025, a diamond had already fallen out. I took the ring in for repair on 9th August 2025 and was told this was a fault covered under warranty. The repair receipt stated that I should have my ring back by 5th September. It is now 11th December 2025 and I still do not have it. I phone weekly for updates (always me having to chase them, as they never call me) and I am repeatedly told they do not know the status because it is with the manufacturer. How can a diamond dealer not know the status of a ring they have had for over four months? The behaviour of the staff has been shocking. They are unapologetic and unhelpful throughout this process. Unfortunately, this is not my first disappointing experience with Chisholm Hunter. Years ago, my boyfriend (now husband) bought my engagement ring from them. Within a month of him proposing, the band snapped and I had to wait six weeks to get it back. Then, within two years, the diamond fell out. I was told it was a manufacturing fault and had to pick a completely new engagement ring to replace it. Shockingly, Chisholm Hunter still sells the same design in-store today, despite knowing it has a manufacturing fault. Thankfully, there were no issues with the second ring. By contrast, my wedding ring from H. Samuel has had zero issues, despite being the cheapest of all my rings. Based on my experiences, I cannot recommend Chisholm Hunter. Their jewellery is overpriced, the quality is inconsistent, and their customer service is disgraceful. I regret ever buying from them. I just want to get my ring back and move on from this horrible experience.

    Today we went in and bought a watch for our mum. Rhona who helped us was absolutely amazing. She was kind, patient, and genuinely cared about helping us find the perfect watch. Her professionalism and warmth made the whole experience really special. We left feeling so happy with both the watch and the service. Thank you for making it such a lovely experience Rhona!!

    My husband and I are regular customers of CHISHOLM HUNTER and today we were served by the beautiful Polly and we felt very well looked after because she is from Japan and she recommended some incredible pearls from her country and it was a super experience because her rooms and knowledge about the brand were incredible.

    I purchased my partners engagement ring here. I was warmly greeted by Kirsten who was incredibly polite and professional, she very kindly walked me through the process and was extremely helpful. I've never had an issue coming back and forth from the shop, every member of staff that I have met has been incredibly polite, professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

    Would have been 0 stars but no choice for that. Only wanted to get links taken out of a watch - first of all asked if I purchased it here, which was a no, then I was asked the make, which frankly reeks of tory snobbery, clearly I was happy to pay for the service, I was told however, that they didn’t have the tools for this brand - utter lies and snobbery. I have been treated far far better in finnies who are clearly a far classier jeweller. I think some jewellers have forgotten the meaning of the business.
