What a great spot! We have just spent a week at the mill with a visiting group of vintage cars from England. Noel and Mary were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Andy, the chef, ensured we were set up for each day with a tasty Irish fry and the final evening dinner of Beef and Guinness stew was simply delicious. This was the perfect venue for our event. Thankyou for your fabulous hospitality

Stayed for a birthday celebration in a large 2 double-bedded room. Lots of room but shower was cheap and only worked intermittently. Another of noise from other rooms as sound proofing non existent. The breakfast on the Sunday was atrocious!. Cheap catering food, cheapest of sausages; bacon and eggs. Cheapest of supermarket bread and juices, revolting.

My family and I stayed at the beautiful cottage at The Mill at Ballydugan where we each had lovely rooms. My room was huge with a toilet and shower. Every room had an incredible view. It was remodeled with modern amenities while preserving the history and charm of the home. It was by far my favorite place to stay in all of Ireland and Scotland for that matter, and we stayed at so many during our trip. The location is ideal as well being so close to quaint Downpatrick and the larger Belfast.

Ballydugan Mill is probably the most efficient wedding venue in Northern Ireland. Their ability to move the wedding to different floors for each part of the wedding day cuts down on so much of the faff that other wedding venues face, such as turning rooms around or waiting for entertainment to set up. Not only is it efficient but the grounds are beautiful and the Mill itself is an amazing backdrop for wedding portraits, as well at the near by lake. The staff are professional and super friendly. We can't wait to photograph another wedding at this venue! ig: @honeyandthemoonphotography

Good location close to town. Hotel only offered breakfast, we had to go out for dinner. Our room didn't have a toilet that flushed well. We could talk through the walls to the next room A fun place, though, and owners were nice.

Just had our wedding here and the setting was incredible, the staff could not have been nicer and the surrounding was picturesque. Thanks to all the staff for making our day so special and putting up with our phone calls every few days on the build up. Thanks to Noel, Maureen and Mary

I attended a wedding at this venue and... wow... I was simply blown away!! The converted mill was not only impressive as a piece of restored architecture, but as a wedding venue, it was spectacular! The service, facilities, staff, food, ambience, were all simply amazing. Even operating at full capacity (it was a large wedding) there was no waiting or delays. The food was hot and of a-la-cart standard. My only problem was that I failed to secure accommodation at the Mill for the night.... I tried to book much too late... but even then the staff went out of their way to help. If you are searching for a venue for a wedding/party/gathering, then give this establishment a try. You will not regret it.

Beautiful wedding venue. The party area for the reception was so well decorated and the balcony made for a great cool down zone post dance marathon. The bar staff were really lovely, especially a ginger-y gentleman who was working at the bar upstairs. Very friendly and working his butt off to keep up with a lot of big drinks orders. I didn't stay in the guest rooms that night but I have heard from family that it was a great stay.
