   Went for a Sunday lunch, and honestly it was the best I have had in a while.. the Xmas decorations are perfectly subtle and give such a warm cozy Xmas vibe.. extremely polite and friendly staff to greet us.. and the food was simply delicious. Am already looking forward to having another chance to go back once again

   Our only complaint was that the portions were so big we didn't have room for pudding! the Chowder was amazing, roast lamb tender, risotto creamy...it was all great with service to match.

   One of my absolute favourite places to eat. The atmosphere is cosy/homely, the food is fabulous and the staff are a friendly bunch. The portions are huge, they could be smaller and still be more than enough. I have yet to try something that I don't enjoy (the seafood chowder is something else - yum.

   Absolutely amazing food! This caramel espresso martini was brilliant, it would have been so wonderful for brunch. My parents and I went for Sunday dinner and had the stuffed leg of lamb. The portion sizes were so generous and the food full of taste. Photographer is the chicken liver parfait in homemade wheaten bread with added treacle - simply beautiful.

   The food here is fantastic. Huge quantities and great quality for a good price. We were also very impressed with how well they have followed covid restrictions. The tables are properly spaced apart with open windows. We haven't really been eating indoors at restaurants yet but I had no concerns eating here. Staff were polite and very helpful. When we took the baby outside to get him to sleep, they offered to keep my husband's food warm until he returned. Would love to come again!
