Visited this store yesterday and had a coffee with an amazing gentleman yesterday that found me my dream mattress. So friendly and accommodating with everything. He took is time and listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me lots of options . So happy I will always go there now for future bed stuff. Thankyou to the gent in dreams. Very happy customer .

Knowledgeable, well trained and courteous staff (ask for Pete), and a good bed-testing system simplified the experience of choosing the right bed and bedstead. The Tempur mattress is a dream, like floating away...! I would give 5 stars except there was a snaggy spot on the metal frame when delivered. We were advised to contact customer services to arrange replacement. Seemed like customer service were short of staff - though very helpful when we finally got through on the store phone. Bought a second Dreams anti allergy mattress cover because the first felt so luxurious and comfortable.

I was excited about buying a decent mattress for the first time ever but the experience has been quite disturbing and needs highlighting to other Dreams customers. We were advised to use the bed machine to assess our physical shape/needs and were recommended mattresses based on professional and mathematical calculations. A Therapur 'firm' mattress was recommended amongst others and on trying it in the store, it was perfect. However, what arrived on delivery was as hard as a crate and bore none of the physical comfort of the same mattress in the store. We contacted the store after a few days and followed the advice of turning it and waiting for it so soften up, but very quickly I was suffering from pain in my hips and numbness in my legs. My partner couldn't even sleep in the bed as there was no give in it to counter his shoulder pain and so he had to sleep on the sofa. We were told the store mattresses would be softer, but I'm not sure how this could be given customers would only try them out for minutes at a time. We were told to wait the 30 days to exchange it under the Comfort Guarantee but would lose money if we downgraded. We continued to try out the mattress for the 30 days and there was no change to our pain, and there was minimal softening up. We ended up going back to the store again before the 30 days to discuss our issues and review other mattresses. On speaking to a sales rep, it was implied other customers had reported similar issues and there was some concern that the construction of the mattresses in the factory was now different to those in the store, potentially indicating that what we had been sold was different (despite looking the same) and would explain why it was so hard in comparison to the shop model. Now the 30 days are up and we have to make a decision, we have no faith in trusting the description of the mattresses in the store to make an affordable exchange. There is a mattress of a similar cost that feels softer but it is labeled as 'firm'. We don't feel we can purchase this in case it arrives full of bricks like the first one, and so have to move to one that is labelled 'medium' in some bid to find a softer mattress. However, it is over £400 more expensive with delivery, and this is with a 20% discount that Dreams gave us, but it has still taken me seriously over budget and I've no idea if it's going to be suitable. I just know I have spent way more money than I anticipated, took their professional advice which I believe is just a gimmick, and if the construction of the mattresses has changed, then the mattresses in the store need to reflect this as it is misleading to customers. They can have my existing mattress in the store to give a true reflection of what customers are buying and I suspect they wouldn't make a single sale on that particular one. I have tried contacting HQ with no luck. Firstly the queues were too long, and today the number won't even ring out. I will continue to do this. I'm really not sure what to say to future customers, given how much money they could be paying. There is almost no point in trying out the mattresses, nor using the machine as what you get is not what you think you're getting. It was also interesting to hear that we have not been the only customers to experience this and so I hope people record their experiences. As a result, I would not recommend Dreams and will not be going back there. We will give this exchange mattress a trial, we will have to ask for a refund and go elsewhere. They have offered us a second swap but the underlying issues really need addressing; is there a change in the construction? Should customers have to wait 30 days when there is pain a numbness??

When we visited, we were served by Niamh at the Havant store and was very knowledgeable about the mattresses, was very friendly and excellent customer service. My partner and I have different health conditions and our old mattress was horrendous and we would wake up in pain every morning. We tried couple mattresses in store and found the perfect mattress for both of our needs with Niamh. The only downside was the price, the price was very high for us. Niamh managed to get some discount on which we were greatful for.

I visited your Havant store today and was met at the door by a lovely member of your staff named Julie. She was polite and extremely helpful and refreshing cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble for her even though I am a fussy sole. I knew what bed I wanted before I arrived and after being shown and tried several mattresses, I chose the Holman D mattress which had an exceptionally good discount on it. I was pleased Julie got me a delivery date that was perfect for me. I totally recommend this store and staff to anyone. Great and helpful service.
