This is the 3rd time staying here, the location is excellent, literally in the town but set back by the Cathedral, so no noise of a night time. The gardens are lovely.Parking facilities excellent. The room was good, on the smaller side but perfect for 1 person. Coffee machine and kettle with plenty of coffee/tea/ milk and biscuits, nice touch! The bathroom was excellent, shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. The only downside was that I couldn't get the lights on the back of the bed to work, they were on a remote control and I just couldn't work them. There were no instructions. The TV had standard channels and a Roku box, this was a bit tricky to manage as you had to go through all of the HDMI settings to get the right one, again no instructions and the buttons on the main remote were quite worn so difficult to see. Overall a great stay, will definitely stay again.

This is a wonderful place to stay in Chichester. It's within the Cathedral precincts, which in turn is in the centre of Chichester, you couldn't be nearer to the centre of things. The room we had was large and very comfortable. It's kept immaculately and we were lucky to meet with one of the people who look after the pace and they couldn't have been nicer. We had a wonderful time and will be staying again.

Amazing, large room. Super comfortable bed. Unbeatable location. Great coffee machine. Super clean. Loved our stay. Only negative is all the lights that shine at night that you can’t control - standby lights and ceiling lights. About 10 - with some on the ceiling above our heads and two flashing. If you’re sensitive to light pollution it’s not great. Fabulous thick curtains however block outside light.

Amazing accommodation within the grounds of the cathedral. Character building with sweeping staircase entrance to upper floor where our room was located. Peaceful location. Our room was overlooking the rear garden. The room was clean, warm and comfortable with comfy beds and quality toiletries. Ample tea coffee etc supply. A huge bonus is the parking opposite the house. No issues at all with self checkin. Our only issue was with the tv remote which needs to be retuned to the tv. Reported this to the cleaner in the morning. We did manage with the manual control on the tv. Highly recommend this beautiful place and we will definitely return. Thank you!

It’s all about the location. Located on the property of the Chichester Cathedral, 4 Canon Lane offers proximity to the center of town, the market cross, and many dining choices and shopping opportunities. The cathedral grounds included a walled garden and a park. Walking to the center of town allowed us to walk through the cloisters. Breakfast is NOT included but we discovered The Fat Fig, a 3 minute walk away - great breakfast and coffee. Our server was exceptional. It was our breakfast place for the three mornings we were in Chichester. Our rooms were on the first floor (second floor to Americans) and were easily accessed via a wide staircase. Cathedral office staff came to help with our luggage. Rooms were comfortable and roomy, but a little on the simple side, totally fitting for where we were, in the shadow of the cathedral. Parking was adjacent and free. Recommended

We spent an excellent stay here. Trouble free check in and out, beautifully modern rooms, well heated (despite freezing temperatures), plus car parking. Could not be better placed within the cathedral grounds.

Access to the property was good with a key code being provided before we arrived. Our room was clean and warm had a wonderful view of the cathedral. The property was nice and quiet and is down a lane off one of the main high streets. A few minutes walk from all the shops. Definitely would love to stay again!

Modern conversation in a beautiful old building next to the cathedral. An obvious amount of care has been taken on the fit and finish. It's pretty impressive. Well administered, you complete an online registration and receive an entry code and one car parking space. But...I imagine because the building is listed, no double glazing means little soundproofing and if you're a light sleeper you may be disturbed. Also the doors squeak awfully and the lock design requires slamming to shut from the outside. So not the quietest room I've stayed in. It's also quite expensive but you are supporting the cathedral.

We booked a Saturday night stay in the Treasury Suites for a visit to see our daughter at the Uni. I booked over the phone after clarifying a couple of things; the lady was extremely pleasant and helpful. Booking and access information followed via email along with detailed directions to the car park. As well as a good sized sofa, our room also had a kitchenette with microwave, kettle, coffee machine, small fridge/freezer. Modern fully tiled and spacious shower room. King size bed was extremely comfortable; quality linen and cushions. Room was simply and tastefully furnished and decorated. We felt the price reflected the quality and convenience of the location, less than 5 mins walk to literally the centre of the city. Plenty of nearby places to have breakfast. The only slight negative for us was that because our room was on the ground floor, we didn’t feel able to leave the windows open overnight. That said, it would not stop us from staying here again; very impressed.

Wonderful accommodation on the Cathedral grounds. The bedroom and shower room were spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was a very hot day and night but the room was the perfect temperature. Highly recommend staying here and wouldn't stay anywhere else if we came back to Chichester.
