Went here to celebrate my birthday and know West Wittering well. The cottage is nice and cosy but there are issues. The original old part is lovely, the new additions not so great. The worst bit though were the disgusting brown towels that were so old most people would throw them away! Crunchy is how I describe them. Then there are the bathroom fittings which are all broken. The cottage needs money spent on it to bring it up to a satisfactory standard otherwise it doesn't justify the cost and whilst we had a nice few days the cold bathrooms and general lack of care or thoughtfulness means we would not return or reccomend.

It is beautiful cottage and has a lot of historical value which you can read about in the welcome book. There is plenty of space but do mind your head if you are on the taller side especially upstairs and in the main living quarters. It's Pet friendly and a lovely place to say only two problems were the driveway was quite tight and it can feel overly cold upstairs and harder to heat but is reasonably warm downstairs.

Great cottage for a holiday or weekend away to pretty west witterings, has all mod cons, adequately fitted out kitchen, lovely atmosphere, short walk to the beach. Only downside, the stairs up to 1st floor are difficult to negotiate and would not suit anyone with mobility problems however there is a bedroom and bathroom downstairs with double bed so could potentially be used by some one if necessary. Also twined single beds, bedroom is accessed via bed 2 through small low doorway, great for kids as long as mum n dad don't mind being disturbed! Overall though this is a lovely place and well worth staying at

We arranged for friends of the family to stay here and they were not disappointed. My family live next door and it's been difficult maintaining privacy between regular tenants and my family's home. However the place itself is lovely and very old fashioned, could do with some money spent in my opinion but as a relatively affordable place to stay next to west wittering beach it's a must.

Nice place booked in at a short time... lovely time spent and easy walk to the beach. Just that the stairs leading up to the first floor were a bit tricky with the risky turns. Thanks for keeping the premises clean. Cheers

A beautiful Cottage but quite cold in the winter, very difficult to keep warm. We'll appointed kitchen although the lack of wifi is a real shame.
