I had the most wonderful time staying at Nutgrove house. The Shepard’s Hut is absolutely luxurious, the grounds are outstanding and both Caroline & Richard are among the most gracious hosts I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Peter the pony, Gatsby the labrador and Daisy the cocker spaniel were all very friendly, in particular it was a real pleasure to open the door come morning to find Gatsby patiently waiting for me to come out and play! The grounds are absolutely glorious, as is the surrounding area. It was also a real treat to see hares, foxes, deer and to hear a beautiful dawn chorus. It was an absolute pleasure, needless to say we will be back! X

Caroline and Richard are fantastic hosts. Their home is beautiful and the gardens are well worth a walk around. As we arrived we were shown to our room (huge room. With ensuite, TV, tea and coffee told about the lovely walks around the making facilities. The bed was super comfy). We went for a walk with their dog Gatsby, who showed us about, true. Both hosts were knowledgeable about the area and recommended places to have dinner. Breakfast included homemade breads, rhubarb compote, granola and a home cooked breakfast. Everything was so delicious. Please visit Nutgrove House, you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely brilliant. Stayed in a gypsy caravan in their apple orchard and it was an amazing experience.
