Excellent hospitality from the very welcoming Elaine. Spacious comfortable double ensuite with a great shower. Lovely breakfast and Maghera Inn on your doorstep. We will be back. Great base for Tollymore and walking in the Mournes.
Had a great time staying at the guesthouse, the owner was very attentive and friendly and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. The location is picturesque with a local pub round the corner. Breakfast was also provided with our booking, which was a pleasant surprise! Would definitely book again when visiting the local area!
This is our second stay here and have booked for another stay The Hosts are the best of the very best Theg go the extra mile, and then more. En-suite rooms and dressing room within each room, the beds are most comfortable. As for the breakfast, so good your next meal will most likely be dinner. Nothing whatsoever is too much trouble
The views and surrounding area are stunning up in the mournes and only a short journey to Newcastle. The food is gorgeous and elaine and gavin are the most welcoming hosts. The accommodation is spotless.
Excellent B+B. Friendly staff, great breakfast and a perfect base for hiking in the mournes. Also really handy that the Maghera inn and restaurant is a minutes walk away
