Stayed here for two nights, really enjoyed the experience. The house is very comfortable and John cooked us a lovely breakfast each morning. The surroundings are beautiful and the house is a 10 min walk to the beach. Great option for a relaxing weekend.
The whole old estate and exterior of the buildings are amazing and the owners were very nice. The inside of the building definitely needs some renovation but I'm sure that would be extremely costly and it's so large keeping it warm is definitely a challenge, was definitely a bit drafty. My wife has allergies and the musty smell gave her some pretty significant sinus problems. One thing that surprised us was the main house on the large estate, isn't right on the road and can be a little tricky to find.

Outstanding...the highlight of our trip. Just the walk to the beach with the cattle and the sheep and especially the very friendly poloponies - beautiful. The beach under the Mourne Mountains - spectacular. Loved every minute.
