AVOID- I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I felt I had to say something. The place looked great on Instagram and TikTok, but the reality was very different. One hot tub was dirty, the other wouldn’t heat, and the host was no help at all — just blamed previous guests and took no responsibility. And unfortunately, that was just one of several issues we ran into. For the price and the way it’s advertised, this place seriously underdelivers. I wouldn’t recommend it.

This is a massive house that is available for large groups and is is perfect for walking in the Mourne mountains and after a hard day's walking relax and soak up in 2 hot tubs on the property. Only think it could do with is a suite and a few relaxing chairs. But other than that it is perfect and annalong a very good filling station and shop

We stayed a few weeks ago - 17 of us..the house is fantastic - in a great spot witb beautiful views. All rooms were brilliant and the host got straight back to us with any questions we had.. including booking us a bus to go to a restaurant in Newcastle. I would highly recommend the Brambles!

I booked a room last minute, and our experience couldn’t have been better. Darren was very attentive through messages, we received recommendations and the directions to get there. The room is fabulous, exactly as the images and more. The place was recently renovated and it is warm and comfortable. I highly recommend, specially if you are travelling with pets.

I was here twice and the owners and team were beyond good. It was recommended to be by a former head of the NI Tourist Board as a special secret place. When you go there you discover just why he recommended it. There are too many things so special but the picnic is delicious if needed for a walk and going out to find your car washed is a rather nice surprise. The food is amazing, rooms beautiful and the lounge is the place to sip a lovely brandy in front of the fire. Go, go, go and soak up the atmosphere.

Stayed here last week with family. What a great place to stay. Loads of room for the kids to play, the disco room as we called it was amazing. Bedrooms very spacious all with ensuite which was ideal with 20 of us staying. Really quiet, peaceful place at the foot of the mourne mountains, ( not that we were energetic enough to climb).place was spotlessly clean and tidy. Was lovely to spend a two night relaxing break here with the family. We have all said we will book for a longer break over the summer. The hosts were very welcoming and showed us were everything was . Couldn't recommend enough and can't wait to go back and spend more quality time with the family for longer.

Amazing location and house, we had our hens party there, rooms were all ensuite, cosy and spotless some with beautiful mountain views, karaoke was a blast and great table to seat the 20 of us chicks, Newcastle is the business and we did a hike to bloody bridge. Will definitely be back in the summer

My family booked this for the weekend for my 60th birthday, 14 adults, 14 kids, while the house needs a little updating it was everything we could have ask for, very homely with plenty of space for the children. It was great that most of us were able to sit around the same table for meals to and the bedrooms were spacious to. We all made special memories here and would definitely recommend it for any family occasion
