Please get a new manager and replace Felix G, who seems to only know how to be rude to paying customers. Disgusting behaviour. Very family & disability unfriendly. It seems like this young boy is on a rules power trip and only knows how to use them to be rude to customers. From harassing my son and I in the changing room, not showing us the disabled changing facilities, to standing over us saying it was 11.57 and the session was finishing, so we needed to be out. The lady on reception was lovely but the changing room seemed full of other shocked, disgruntled families. As we had only managed to get into the pool, at 11.40 we asked swim 2 more lengths. My son was swimming lengths and I’m a swimming teacher but this wasn’t good enough for Felix who seemed to have a power trip. I offered to pay extra to be able to swim for a whole 5 more minutes but he said it was full. There were 6 people in the pool. I checked and lane swimming can take 24 but he appeared to just not want us there from the moment he saw our “dangerous inflatable”. It was a body board that we would have used at the lovely Stonehaven lido. Next he came back to say my son’s snorkel mask was dangerous. Really? I teach kids to swim using this, so they can snorkel. He then just hovered over us being rude and attempting to scare away the few customers he had. Just a jobsworth. Another lady in the changing room nearly left as he wouldn’t let her take her buggy into the changing room with her baby. We’ve been going when visiting family for years and Felix hust ruined this experience for us. Please send this young man on a customer service course! I can’t imagine he’ll last long in this job with his attitude to customers. Shocking and disgusting. Try helping the customer instead of making them feel like they shouldn’t be there as a paying customer.
Really disappointed with how we were treated by a male member of staff tonight, group of us booked in for a swim and sauna. We were rudely told to get out of the sauna as only 4 people allowed at once and we were a group of 5-this is fine but there was no signage to indicate this was the case nor were we told at reception. Apparently you also need to be wearing an orange band for the sauna, again this was not mentioned at point of booking or at reception. The tone in which we were spoken to was unacceptable as we were treated as though we were stupid which I can guarantee is not the case. So disappointing for a the centre which has just newly opened and will now be losing customers due to the lack of information given and the poor treatment of customers by staff
Was here on a coach trip, and there were no toilets open the staff here very kindly let us use the toilet facilities. The leisure centre was really clean and people were actually taking part in a group exercise programme. I was impressed with this in the ladies' toilets, as not all women or young girls can afford sanitary products
Great park for the kids to enjoy and burn off their energy. Leisure centre attached allows toilet use . The car parks were full when we arrived however there is a car parking across the road along side the field which is sign posted.
A well ran venue, with plenty of gym classes and swimming facilities. The swimming classes for children seem particularly well organised and reasonable in price.
Equipment well maintained and the park is clea. So much variety to choose from and there is something for all age groups
Nice quiet pool with warm showers.
I went in with my grandson to use the toilets during a visit to the play park. Glad they are closer than the beach toilets as little ones tend to leave it until the last minute when they're excited & busy playing!
Friendly staff always welcoming, the open air pool is fantastic. The indoor pool is great, a variety of classes. There is outdoor activities for kids including skate park and there ample seating and car parking spaces. It's close to the beach. The draw backs are the size of the gym and the lack of equipment, the changing facilities and showers need an upgrade.
