A Super spa day with lunch and lovely birthday treat. It’s a beautifully designed pool area with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Robes and towels are provided as well as a locker token. We were well looked after by Gethin and his team. Laura was excellent and her massage was soothing and relaxing: perfect. Will definitely be back.
Visited for a body and face massage. I have had this treatment a few times before and it’s absolutely lovely. Ashleigh is fabulous and I always hope to have her, she makes the whole experience for me. Great job again Ashleigh, thank you! Whilst the lovely Ashleigh remains a total asset to the therapist team, the spa itself is really disappointing. The reception staff are nice, however the manager, Gethin appears to believe that he can turn around the rules at the click of his fingers. Examples are, having been a premium member for almost 2 years, the ‘rules’ get increasingly tedious and changed at the drop of a hat with no consultation. Whilst I understand there is a clause that states rules can be changed, they are quite frankly a joke. From really limited times for children, suddenly they were permitted most of the day… how tedious and un spa like! I’ve always believes a ‘spa’ to be a relaxing p’ace, not resembling a public swimming bath! Also on a whim of anything is going on at the Hilton, all rules are dropped on the turn of a coin. Parking is changed, classes are cancelled, all because large events are happening at TECA. Just a disgrace really when people pay the guts of £1000 per year for a membership. Shockingly poor commitment to those that pay all year. Usually these changes are just announced on a whim it seems and don’t get me started on the frequency things break in the spa and the timer for the jacuzzi that was just put in place without any communication. A disgrace really and woeful at best.
My mother in law tried to buy some cream after her treatment. They never gave any of the discounts that were due, £10 off and 10% because she'd had a spa day. Then they gave her the wrong items and instead of refunding a portion of the total, the "Manager," Gethin, (and I use that term loosely) decided that he had to refund the lot and recharge for the new amount. He said some utter BS about Hilton policy. He was clueless as to the workings of the card machine, and the young girl had to show him where he was going wrong. This episode put a dampener on an otherwise pleasant experience
Amazing treat on Valentine’s Day . I had a facial & back massage combo and my skin feels amazing . Ashleigh was really nice and attentive to my problem skin. The pool area is fantastic and I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Definitely the best spa in Aberdeen.
I booked the Devona Renewal Ritual Experience worth £180 on Friday, and I must express my disappointment as the experience fell far short of the standards expected from a luxury spa. While the masseuse was professional and performed her duties adequately, the overall experience left much to be desired. To begin with, parking was a challenge. I arrived 10 minutes early, yet spent 15 minutes struggling to locate the underground parking without adequate guidance. Despite calling for assistance, I was kept on hold by the Devona Spa reception while I went between Hilton and Aloft seeking directions. Upon arrival, the formalities and introductions took up 10-15 minutes of my allotted time. Unlike other luxury spas, the two-hour session included this process, effectively shortening the actual treatment time. Unfortunately, the treatment itself did not live up to expectations, and I left without feeling relaxed or rejuvenated. To make matters worse, the reception staff displayed a complete lack of interest in my experience. At the end, I was merely asked to drop the locker token at the desk and leave, with no effort made to inquire about the quality of my visit. This left me feeling thoroughly disheartened. Frankly, any Thai or Indonesian spa offers a far superior experience at a fraction of the cost. I will not be returning to Devona Spa, as it failed to deliver on its promise of a luxury experience.

My friend and I visited Devona Spa in December for a girly pre-Christmas treat and we were not disappointed! Having not been before, we found the staff were extremely welcoming and the facilities were fantastic. I had the most amazing full body hot stone massage with Hannah. Having had several hot stone massages previously (they’re my favourite treatment), I can honestly say that this one was by far the best! My friend, whom was eight months pregnant at the time, had her first ever massage with Cindy - a pre-natal full body massage - and said it was exactly what she needed. We made use of the relaxation room after and even managed to treat ourselves to a few products used during our treatment. The receptionist was extremely helpful when choosing the products and gave us complimentary passes to use the facilities again in the future. Overall, we left feeling extremely relaxed and we are already planning our next trip! Highly recommended.
Lovely spa experience, massage with Maria was AMAZING. Would definitely go back, just a shame it's not easy to get to from town but otherwise perfect.
