   I used the takeaway coffee machine to buy a few cups of coffee and hot chocolate, both of the drinks were like milky water, very disappointing to say the least, I remember when sainsbury's was in control of this place and they were very competent, I don't know who simply Local are, I will have to stay clear of them in the future, it's a bit of a shame really as they are in a prime location in the city centre

   When this store was under the management of Sainsbury's, it was excellent. It was dearer than average, but at least you got your money's worth. Now, it is absolutely abysmal. They never seem to have enough stock in, I can never get everything I want in one shop, there is consistently poor choice and a raft of empty shelves. Not only this, the quality of the goods I do buy has deteriorated sharply. Guess what hasn't reduced in tandem with this, though? Yes - the prices! In future, I will be expending a bit more shoe leather to go a bit further afield, where I can be assured of more bang for my buck and a more complete shop.

   Been in twice in the last 2 weeks and both times the person serving has told me they only have £1 coins and gave me a £1 short in my change, they made a big deal out of returing the other £1... no better then scammers be warned if yu use this place always check your change

Happened on two visits with different staff; today was experienced (worked here when it was Sainsbury's) and he didn't even apologise. Edit: Changed from 1* to 3* due to an excellent response from the company which gives me some hope they will deal with the problem.

Happened on two visits with different staff; today was experienced (worked here when it was Sainsbury's) and he didn't even apologise. Edit: Changed from 1* to 3* due to an excellent response from the company which gives me some hope they will deal with the problem.

   What a shame this store is closing. Used the store regularly. Staff are polite and helpful & stock is good. Unfortunately Sainsbury's other shops are too far away.
