Why are most of the staff who serve on the fast/cig counter arrogant it's so unpleasant being served all on massive ego trips n why? There's only one who is pleasant an older lady mabe you should train and remind the rest the job they do isn't rocket science the sooner there replaced by robots the better! ( ps the normal check out staff seem fine ) so what the problem *post note said counter staff hit a new low I watched a customer pick up and hand over £40 off the floor that someone had lost I noticed how dismissive and blarsy the women taking it was sure enough out side I got talking to an old guy who happened to have lost it ( same amount same notes same area) would you believe no nobody had handed any money in!!?? This on a day before x mas eve the staff are disgraceful and they have the cheek to put charity box's every were next time I feel like stealing a 40p carrier bag my mmm

Not a bad store to pick odds and ends up from. Outside is a little untidy occasionally with litter, cigarette ends, graffiti and the occasional drunk person laid against the wall. But this is a common site along Beverley Road area sadly.

Visited the Beverley High Road in Hull store today and was served by an operative at one of the tills. This individual (a female) served with no interaction whatsoever with any of the customers. No smile. No eye contact. Nothing. Merely handed the change/receipt over. Surely a simple greeting and/or a smile from the operative costs nothing and goes a long way to making the Tesco shopping experience more pleasant for the customer

I have found a sandwich with damaged packaging. I haven't got enough mone, for the full price. When I asked them to discount it for me, they gave me a very nasty look as I have damaged the item myself and they told me I can't have it at all and they threw it out. Food wasters and socially absolutely insensitive.

Tescos is a really good brand and is really supportive of those with disabilities including Autism. This shop has a wide range of products for it's size and most prices are fair. It sells a relatively big free from range too. The bakery items are normally very fresh and consistently nice. The shop is accessible for wheelchair users and The staff are there to assist those with learning difficulties or anyone who is struggling. The isles are wide. The store looks clean and tidy. At least one security guard at this store are a bit power rich and stereotyping though. Last time I went in, I had forgotten to put my sunflower lanyard on. I was doing my regular routine and the security guard was stalking me around the shop. I wasn't doing anything wrong, I had just come in to get an ice cream after rugby and decided to see if there was anything else I fancied. I bet if I had been an elderly man instead of a young person, then it wouldn't have happened (stereotyped)! As a disabled adult, I felt intimidated and horrible, he was massive and scared me. If it happens again, I will be reporting it to Tesco. I hope he was just having a rough day. The security at other tesco stores, or any other place I've been in, have been kind, helpful and professional. I gave it 4/5 stars as whilst Security isn't tesco, any member of Tesco staff who was around could've helped get him away from me at any point. I was too scared to confront him myself due to his size.
