    Popped in here over the Christmas break for some lunch. The chap at the bar was very friendly and welcoming and quickly sorted us out with a table. We sat down, and a young blonde waitress came over just as my partner had gone to the bathroom. I asked if she could come back in a few minutes, which she seemed somewhat put out by. After waiting around 10 minutes, we went to the bar to ask if we could order. A further five minutes passed before we asked a passing waiter, at which point the same waitress came over, visibly annoyed — as if expecting to order food was somehow unreasonable. The service overall from the waitress was extremely poor: stroppy, disengaged, and lacking even basic eye contact. This was particularly disappointing because the food itself was actually very nice. The initial chap at the bar clearly understood customer service, but his colleague completely let the place down. There was zero interaction when the food was handed over, and the overall experience felt completely disinterested. To top it off, we were left with the bill but no one came to take payment, nor were we told whether we should pay at the bar. All in all, a really poor effort in customer service, which unfortunately overshadowed some very nice food and nice atmosphere overall

    My wife and I visited here at the start of November and I must admit what a fantastic experience we had, the food was amazing, all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, especially Karolis and Luke who both great craic and helped us choose the perfect meal. We would definitely be back and would highly recommend PJ'S. Ps we bought the famous PJ's wheaten bread and really enjoyed it too.

    If you're planning to go, and if you are two, 12 + 6 oysters will be more than enough. We ordered 12 + 12, and we ended up a bit stuffed. We got grilled& baked oyster and kalbi butter oyster, we loved grilled & baked more, kalbi butter was a bit salty. Great food, great atmosphere, great staff, fast service, we absolutely loved it!

    I wanted to sit by the fire and sink pints all day here. Perfect Winter boozer with the fire going and great guinness. Staff were amazing, so quick and were great with the kids. The seafood is great. Fish Tacos were average and a bit bland but the mussels were amazing. Will deffo come back and without the car.

    The food itself was tasty and service was quick, but my experience was spoiled by undercooked fish and chips. The cod came out cold inside with raw batter still clinging to it not just unappetizing, but unsafe. It completely ruined my meal. I wasn’t after a refund, just hoping the kitchen pays more attention, because no restaurant should serve fish in that condition.

    Got the PJs double smash burger, it came with fries, costed €18.50 was very filling. Place is a maze and if I didn't go with someone who was familiar with the place I would have been lost. Great service however and the food came quick enough.

    Stopped here without planning a visit and certainly didn't regret the decision... Friendly staff(Danniella)accommodated our mind changes and whims without complaint. Food was superb and great value... the seafood chowder was amazing. Only wish it had been a wee bit warmer. Excellent Guinness as well

    Adult good just okay, kids burger very spicy and very salty and reheated chips. When mentioned to the waiter she apologized and hopefully pass on the feedback. Wouldn't go back for food, maybe just for the atmosphere.

    couldn't be happier with our valentine's day dinner there. we had oysters, calamari, prawn pil pil, and fish tacos and everything was delicious. i would say for the price, the food would have been about value, but there was a live harpist who started at 7 and the staff even gave us a complimentary drink after our meal to enjoy the music with, which elevated our meal tremendously!
