    Disappointed by the Light-Up Toys — Wouldn’t Recommend We’ve been to several shows and always enjoy them — we’ve even booked a trip again. But the light-up toys sold during the performance were a real letdown. We bought two (£18 total), and sadly both broke almost immediately. One ran out of battery within 15 minutes, and the other shattered after a single drop. When I brought them back at the next show, I was told they couldn’t be refunded or replaced without a receipt — which you only get if you specifically ask for one. Guest services eventually apologised, but it took nearly an hour to get a response, and nothing was resolved. I didn’t expect the toys to last forever, but I did expect them to survive the holiday. For the price, I’d recommend bringing your own — you’ll find better quality at Poundland. That said, do go to the shows! They’re great traditional Butlins entertainment, with plenty of seating and a brilliant atmosphere for families. Just skip the overpriced toys and enjoy the performance
