Liked it, music is loud when the bands are playing, so if you wanna chat this might not be the place for you. But has a good atmosphere especially if they are playing the type of music you like. Only drank here so can't comment on other services.

This hotel was booked for two nights based on the promise of ample parking, which turned out to be completely unavailable on both days. Upon arrival, was surprised to discover that the ground floor houses a nightclub that operates until 3 a.m., making it impossible to get any rest. The next morning, there was no hot water in the showers—completely cold. Which was a great start for the day. After returning late was greeted with another surprise in the form of room key cards not working. To make matters worse, there was no one at the front desk and neither of the provided emergency contact numbers responded, leaving us with no choice but to find alternative accommodation at our own expense. I’d avoid this place like the plague !!

Honestly can not say how bad this “Hotel” is… Rooms are above night club with music playing till 3am which then just when you think it stops everyone stands outside yelling for another hour, cold showers and then just to top off our room cards stopped working. With no one at the desk and place shut up we phoned the emergency number… which just rang out. We ended up having to book rooms 6 miles away at premier inn!

Absolutely appalling experience. I was only informed that this place has a nightclub that closes at 3am, only after i made the reservation. Things turned from bad to awful when i was given a room right above the entrance of the club and if it things couldn't get any worst, the room's window was broken and didn't close properly, allowing the noise and commotion coming from the crowd right into bedroom until the early hours. The manager's assistant was uninterested when i asked for another room or someone to repair the broken window, he also seem to know that there was an issue with the room and asked me to write for a formal complain when i ask him for a compensation. Also the tv in the room didn't have signal and there were old earplugs under the bed.

Lovely room, my room name however cracked me up. Comfortable bed, and very clean. They acquiesced to my request of no feather pillows and I was able to have a vegan breakfast also. Lovely staff although possibly a little understaffed at times. I loved being so close to town.

We stayed overnight to meet friends for dinner. We found all Staff very friendly and efficient especially at breakfast which was delicious. Room was an amazing size very spacious , it was very clean, a good size bathroom with corner spa bath and great shower. Stayed on a Saturday night so expected noise as venue open till 2 am but it did not affect our sleep, super king bed very comfy with a good size tv and generous complimentary beverages. Free parking also a great plus. Thanks Vestry we will return x

Wow. I left my coat there and I go back two days later with my ticket and they don’t have it!! Staff probably selling it online. Cost me so much money. Also so unbelievable how rude their security guards are to groups of people on New Year’s Eve. First it’s free. Then it’s $40. The. They’re charging $20. Suggestion: New leadership needed

The room (number 7) was nice, with a comfy bed and decent toiletries. The breakfast was ok. And the parking was convenient. BUT, the overwhelming experience was of the noise from the 'nightclub' downstairs - and don't think it's just a bar, because it's not and there's a DJ until 2am. We had Drum n Bass. It said on the website that they 'occasionally make use of the late licence', but when you read it properly you find there's a nightclub until 2am Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights! Not wholly accurate information I'd say. I have some professional experience of noise nuisance and would estimate it to have been 55 - 60 decibels in the room - this would not be acceptable in a residential property, but because it's a hotel it's considered ok because you'll only be there a night or two. Well, I need my sleep and had a long drive the next day and lying awake at 2am (furious after the bouncer told me I must be really sensitive to noise to hear it!) was not what I was expecting to be paying for. I was going to email them privately about this and ask for a 50% refund (the husband can sleep through anything), but having read their dismissive remarks in response to similar complaints I decided not to bother and am posting this instead. If you don't want loud noise when you're trying to sleep then don't come here when they have an event on.

Found the staff really friendly, especially at breakfast, they were attentative and efficient even through the busy period. The rooms were clean and very spacious. Yes, it was noisy, however ear plugs are provided and this was clearly mentioned in the ad. A certain amount of noise is also to be expected when sleeping above a pub.
