Just been here for dinner. Food was piping hot and delicious and a very good price. The staff are just so nice. Will definitely be going back very soon.

Had a very lovely experience when we visited the Swan. Louis, the barman, was very chatty and friendly. He made us feel comfortable and welcome. Will definitely visit again. Louis is a credit to this establishment

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “A Midweek Roast That Deserves a Standing Ovation (If I Could Still Stand)” Popped into The Swan for their midweek carvery and, honestly, I’m still recovering from the food coma. The roast was so good I briefly considered proposing to the gravy boat. The beef was tender, the roasties were crisp enough to wake the dead, and the Yorkshire puddings were basically edible clouds sent from heaven (via the oven). The staff were cheerful and efficient — probably because they get to smell that roast all day. The only downside? My plate looked like a mountain, and I still went back for seconds because I have no self-control when there’s stuffing involved. 10/10 would recommend — perfect for anyone who wants to ruin their diet and their ability to move for the rest of the afternoon

We visited as a couple on Sunday and had their carvery and some drinks. Firstly the pub is large and pleasantly full so it was a nice atmosphere, plus the pub was spotless which always reassures us and it was nicely decorated for Halloween. The carvery was amazing, hence this review, we are fussy but everything was wonderful. There was turkey or beef, both very tasty and the chef Riley served us and was very enthusiastic about his cooking which was a plus, he knew what he was talking about. The veg was perfect, the cauliflower cheese too, the potatoes and parsnips and the gravy all hit the spot. Yorkshire puddings were big and tasty and we had arrived a bit later than planned but everything was fresh and refilled when low. We even met the manager Kerry who was very friendly, she seated us and had a chat. Actually even some of the customers and staff interacted with us too, everyone was so friendly and seemed proud of the pub. It certainly looks well looked after. We wish it was closer to us and we have to say it was one of the best carveries we've had and we will pop down to the Swann inn again as soon as we can! The value is extraordinary too, it's a very good meal for the price and they do a Wednesday one too. Thoroughly recommend the food and the pub and the team, thank you Kerry!

I went for dinner with my family and we had food from the new menu. All I can say is WOW! Scrumptious. Everyone enjoyed their meal, the quality was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely for a Wednesday evening out with the family. We will definitely be back for more dinners!

We live round the corner and I've lived here 9 years and have only used the pub three times, once for my partners 30th,once for a celebration drink when we interred her Mum's ashes and again this week for my partners wake. Food was provided and good quality, service is good and i hear that the hot food is very good (I'm yet to try)! Will probably be back soon!
