   We visited the 3 cocks for the christmas party menu with friends. The food was outstanding. Starters consisted of open mushroom ravioli, salmon terrine and cheese souflee. For Main we had the option of traditional turkey christmas dinner, rib of beef and halibut - something for everyone and all tasting great with plently of extra veg and gravy. Desserts also very good. The service was excellent and attentive, the price extremely competitive. A truly memorable night with friends. Thank you the 3 cocks!

   Tonight me and my husband took advantage of the Steak night. 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £40. Fully worth the money. Lovely atmosphere, great food, and wonderful service from their waitress Eiden. Couldn’t recommend the place more. If you are looking for a tasty meal, or just a nice quiet pint in front of a roaring fire, this is the place for you. 5 stars all round.

   The food served here is amazing the best in the area by far. Everything is cooked fresh and to a high standard. On arrival a welcoming host shows you to your table and discuss any allergies to the point of asking if it is intolerance or anaphylactic showing the knowledge they have. I went as far as sending a message to the chef to say that was best meal I had in a long time We have 1 vegan, 1 veggie, 1 non meat eater and 2 others all perfectly catered for Highly recommended

   We were pleasantly surprised to discover such a high-level restaurant and pub in the small village of Brigstock. The place has a beautifully authentic interior with thoughtful details that give it a unique charm. In the main dining area, there’s even a vintage pub game table — a lovely touch that adds to the atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the food is made with fresh, local ingredients from nearby farms. They serve brunch, have a pool table, two spacious terraces, a kids’ corner, and lots of board games to enjoy. There are also special events like quiz nights and Steak Thursdays with great offers. The service was absolutely brilliant — attentive, friendly, and professional. A true hidden gem!

   Went with friends for a belated birthday treat with my wife. Food was very good, although they could only offer limited desserts due to being busy earlier. Chicken Caesar salad, gammon, burger, sizzling fajitas and a pizza were our mains. All very good, with attentive but not intrusive service, and very reasonably priced. Apparently the carvery on Sundays is good, but need to book and get there early. We'll happily go back to the Olde Three Cocks for more as it's local.
