   There is an alarm on the church and when it is triggered, it's piercing sound will awaken you and this does not make for a comfortable stay.

   What an absolute gem of a place! If you have an eco-conscious ethos, and want to have a tranquil stay away from it all, or a stunning wedding venue with a difference, the eco lodges are perfect. The church ruin provides the perfect backdrop for stunning photography, and you can create a cosy atmosphere with beautiful lighting and stunning simplicity of natural florals.    We held our wedding weekend at the Ecolodges in August ‘22. Everyone said the location was stunning and the photos look great. The venue were very accommodating to our requests and the on-site warden was a big help in getting our suppliers sorted. I would absolutely recommend for any event or gathering over a weekend.

   A brilliant place to stay. We were a group of 13 with all ages and the cabins were perfect for that. The rooms were spotless and well laid out with soft towels and tea making facilities in every room. The 'Nest' was great for socialising, eating, playing games and had lots of seating plus a huge table. The Hive was another party room that our grandsons used for playing pool. There are two kitchen areas with fridge freezers, hobs and an oven. There is lots of cutlery, crockery and space for putting food. The lodges are in a beautiful village which is in a good spot for long or short walks. We visited a local pub and the walk was vey interesting. The nearby church is also fabulous to visit and great for photo opportunities. Izzy was very helpful with anything we needed and making sure we knew where everything was. A magical place for everyone - it even impressed our teenage grandchildren!

   Lovely venue..Nice location ..road up is a bit bumpy but no problem. Plenty of parking..massive dining area and a separate party/ relaxation building away from the sleeping pods. Very well decorated and comfortable highly recommend staff very lovely

   A lovely family get together of 17 people. Rooms are small but nice. Communal area had everything we needed & the hosts went out of their way to do anything we asked. Area is beautiful & quiet.

   An interesting place that aims to be as eco friendly as possible and works hard to do so. Had the Jay room very clean with all the basic things you'd expect (and very fluffy nice towels) nice remote spot so generally quite and with reduced light pollution if you like to watch the sky or hunt for bats. Taken a star off as its quite expensive for the size of the room. But over all a very pleasant stay while doing the greensand ridge walk
